It doesn't matter if we're talking Middle School football or the NFL; The Quarterback is the most important position. This will be a retread of my past coverage, as I've said just about everything I've needed to say about Hunter. Naturally talented, with great throw power and tremendous accuracy downfield. Quarterbacks playing 8-man football oftentimes get written off, and I would have if Hunter didn't have an incredible day at the MHSAA Showcase in Farmington. Against some of the best DBs in Oakland country, Hunter consistently put the ball in a place where only his receiver could get it. I don't think Hunter has the experience or IQ to play in the GLIAC, but I would recommend any D3 or NAIA team take a close look at Hunter.

Jadon is the presumed starter for Dakota this next season. As long as he earns the starting nod, I expect Jadon to be a late-bloomer college football prospect. His tape shows exactly what you'd like to see from a MAC Red Quarterback. For one, he's on time with his throws. So many QBs are frankly awful at quick game, but Jadon has demonstrated good quick-game ability, especially when throwing to the middle of the field. Jadon can also use his feet, throw off-schedule, and drive the ball downfield. In addition, he also has the size to get recruited to play at the next level. I know that Baseball is Sport #1 for Jadon, but with a good season at QB, he may consider playing football or both at the next level.

Honestly, I've seen a mixed bag from Brayden these past few months. There's no doubt that he's a capable QB, but time will tell if he's excellent. If I know anything about Rockford, they'll give Brayden every tool imaginable to succeed. Also, I've literally never seen a below-average Rockford QB. I'm confident that Brayden will run the Rockford offense well, and he should quickly become a college prospect this summer. I've seen Rockford develop their players very well throughout a season, and I fully expect Brayden to settle in and improve this Fall. If he can improve his consistency, Brayden is easily a D3 prospect, but may need to stand out a lot more to be a D2 prospect considering his size.

It's not shocking that Grayson doesn't have any offers, considering he's a 2027 prospect. Though, I've seen a lot less talk about Grayson over the past few months.
I'm incredibly excited to see Grayson lead Kenowa Hills in the newly formed River Cities Alliance. This is a prospect whose been working incredibly hard for a long time, and he finally gets his chance to shine very soon. For one, Grayson has decent size, long limbs, and is sneaky-athletic. Whenever I watch Grayson, I'm surprised by how well he can use his feet. In addition, he seems to be way ahead of the curve with a few advanced skills such as pocket presence and off-schedule playmaking. I expect Grayson to use his feet a lot this season, and I expect him to convert a ton of off-schedule throws. I feel that it might be difficult for the offense to be perfectly on-schedule because of the overall talent of Kenowa Hills, so it might be difficult to scout Grayson in terms of on-time pocket passing. Regardless, I expect a great season from Grayson followed by a very productive 2025 offseason.

I can't wait for [player_tooltip player_id='1028165' first='Landon' last='Hall']'s Sophomore season. I've very rarely seen a QB as polished as Landon as a freshman. Last season's highlights showed a strong fundamental foundation in addition to great throw power and timing. His timing on out routes are especially impressive, as that's a route that most High School QBs greatly struggle with. Lastly, Landon does a great job standing strong in the pocket until he's forced out. Once he's forced out of the pocket, Landon does a great job keeping his eyes downfield while evading pressure. As long as Landon keeps improving, his upward trajectory will result in GLIAC opportunities at the very least.
