In this final iteration of Hudl Discoveries in the OAA White, I'll be evaluating five more unknown prospects from the White.

Groves currently has two D1 prospects at running back, which makes me confident about Jeremiah's development and ceiling. Playing at the JV level, Jeremiah showed a lot of promise running within the Groves offense. Running the same stretch/outside zone plays that Varsity runs, Jeremiah showed good vision, speed, and hard north-south running. If he was a 2025 prospect, I'd ding him a bit for not quite having excellent speed or athleticism. Thankfully, Jeremiah has about 30 months before he's highly recruited by most colleges. He'll be on my radar from here on out, and I hope to see continued improvements over the next couple of years.

I've always respected the Groves Offensive and Defensive lines. Although you don't see many top prospects from these position groups (except for Avery, of course), Groves is usually incredibly solid upfront. That said, Mattia is a solid guard that showed a lot of promise as a sophomore on Varsity. His bread and butter seems to be pulling, as he has solid enough agility and want-to to execute those blocks. It's difficult to judge footwork on a highlight tape, but it seems like Mattia has the basics down when it comes to overall run blocking. He could be a bit more aggressive and agile, and his hands could be better, though he's not a bad run blocker. With pass blocking, Mattia would benefit from practicing his pass sets. I'll be putting Mattia on the Rankings Watch list, and I hope to see further improvements in a few months!

Curtis has one of the longest highlight tapes I've seen, and his tape shows a wide range of abilities. Throwing the football, there are a good number of throws where he gets the ball out quickly, on time, and accurately. Running the ball, Curtis is a willing runner, but lacks the ability to break many tackles or burn the defense with his speed. Still, there are plenty of instances where Curtis earns a chunk of yards on the designed QB run or option. Switching back to his passing, there are a good amount of good short and deep passes. A few major aspects he needs to improve on are his timing and throw power over the middle of the field. There are a ton of instances where Curtis throws late, and more instances where I'd like to see the ball get there a little quicker with a better spiral. I hate to say this, but Curtis has a very uphill battle getting recruited because of his height. I hope that Curtis shows vast improvement next season, which could lead to colleges taking a chance on an undersized prospect.

Last season, KJ showed great promise on both sides of the ball. As long as he can bulk up while keeping up his athleticism, he could be a phenomenal D2 prospect in a year's time. Offensively, KJ is a great X or Z receiver who thrives in securing jump balls. Partnered with his height, KJ could be a prime downfield threat and man-to-man nightmare if he continues improving his all-around receiver abilities. I'd also love to see improvements in route running and RAC. KJ also plays a bit of OLB/EDGE. There, I like his play speed, but again, he needs to bulk up and improve his all-around fundamentals. KJ is another prospect who'll be on the Watch List, and I hope to see him have a breakout 2024 season.

Although his film is a touch short, Tim showed great stuff last season. First of all, I really like Tim's athletic traits. His film shows overall great athleticism with good speed, explosiveness, and power. Looking at his Twitter, there are plenty of examples of great athleticism, including some good routes out of the backfield. The tape is too short for me to judge his vision and open-field abilities, but I have little doubt that Tim will have plenty of opportunities to shine next season. Especially with the stacked 2024 class of Southfield A&T, I expect Tim to have an incredible breakout season.
