Ampofo is one of the many dawgs in this secondary group that gets after it. He has received an offer from North Dakota State and will be looking to add to his offer list. He was at safety this past season and is quick out of his breaks to come up and pop the ball carrier. He is good at dislodging the football from receivers and can come own with INTs as well. He will be a stock watch player to keep an eye on.
Highlights
Jamison has received some offers from D2 school; Fort Lewis, Sioux Falls and Lincoln University (Missouri) but I could see a fit in state at Northern Colorado. He is a corner that can get out of his back pedal quickly and help in the running game making good open field tackles. Will be a stock riser DB to keep an eye on moving forward.
Highlights
Aukland is a DB on the rise that has been a standout during the season and was one of the defensive ballers from the new spring prep league. He is able to read and react quickly coming down and helping in the running game or making a play on the ball coming down with an INT. He will be a stock watch player if he is able to duplicate this season.
Highlights
Shuss is a stud safety that has received an offer from Augustana University and is looking to have another standout season to receive more. He is a safety that can come down and play in the box or drop back and play in coverage. He has good hands and can go up and high point the football. He is a good open field tackler and will be another stock watch DB to keep an eye on.
Highlights
Sanchez is a ball hawk safety with good hips, being able to open up and run with receivers. He is a good open field tackler and rallies to the ball to get in on tackles. He was able to come down with 2 INTs last season and will be looking to make a statement this season to pop onto the radar.
Highlights
Wise is a DB that has the ability to be a lockdown corner or play either safety position. He can come down and dislodge the football or turn and run with most receivers in his conference. He is good in the open field bringing the ball carrier down and shows good hands, going up and high pointing the football. He has the ability to rise in the ranks this season and should be on the watch list.
Highlights
Reitan is a DB that popped onto my radar at an event and he has continued to impress. He has the ability to go up against most of the top DB’s in the state and hold his own. He has good hips and can use his strength to jam at the line of scrimmage. He has good footwork and can get in and out of breaks quickly. He will be looking to have a standout season and jump onto some radars.
Brayton is a player from the WL that is looking to have a breakout season. He is a taller safety that shows the ability to go up and high point the football, showing his receiver hands to come down with it. He can come down into the box and help in the running game now being afraid to mix it up on the inside.
Highlights
Jahn is more of a two way player that can make an impact for his team on the offensive end. On defense he is not afraid to lay a hard hit on receivers to dislodge the football. He has good vision in coverage and keeps receivers in front of him, going up and high pointing the football for INTs. He has the speed to keep up with most receivers but is good at getting depth and keeping them in front.
Highlights
O’Brien has already received an offer from Hastings and is getting some attention from some D2 schools as well. He has some great hands and was able to come down with 5 INTs this past season. He is a good open field tackler being able to shoot for the legs and bring ball carriers down in a hurry. He will be a stock watch player to keep on the radar this season.
