O’Brien is a player that is able have an impact in multiple phases of the game. He has the speed to be explosive in the return game, flipping the field or taking a return to the house. On the defensive end, he has a lot of speed and can defend multiple positions and lock them down. He is a ball hawk that can get his hands on the ball and come up with interceptions. He has the ability to close the gap in a hurry and bring the ball carrier down. He is a player that can be a great addition to any DB room and should be on programs radar.

O’Brien has already received an offer from Hastings and is getting some attention from some D2 schools as well. He has some great hands and was able to come down with 5 INTs this past season. He is a good open field tackler being able to shoot for the legs and bring ball carriers down in a hurry. He will be a stock watch player to keep on the radar this season.

O’Brien is a DB that has good vision in coverage, being able to read through the receiver to see the QB and react on the throw. He shows strong hands being able to go up and high point the ball for an INT or be able to knock the ball down. He is a good open field tackler, tracking the ball carrier and not over pursuing the ball. With his speed he is able to impact the return game on special teams as well. He will be another player that will be a stock watch this season.
