Completing 7-of-11 passes for 77 yards, Lockett showed his ability to mange the passing game while also dominating on the ground with 88 rushing yards on just 4 carries, including 2 TDs. His poise in the pocket and precision on rollout passes have him ready to have a breakout season.

Lockett is a QB that is able to light it up through the air as well as on the ground, being a true duel-threat QB that can make you pay. He has a strong arm and excels at passes outside of the numbers being able to fit it into tight windows. He has good vision when he becomes the ball carrier and can setup his blocks, being a physical runner and breaking through tackles. He will be prospect to keep an eye on this offseason as he will demand some attention moving forward.

Lockett was locked in during round 1 and took every opportunity the defense was giving him. He was 8 for 11 through the air with 2 TDs. On the ground he was able to read the defense and then follow his blocks to get to the second and third level. He was able to bounce the ball to the outside and get chunk yardage. He will be a player to keep on the radar for the second round.
