In the month of June, we’re updating all of our prospect rankings on Prep Redzone Oklahoma. We’ve seen a ton of football this offseason from the 7v7 circuit to camps to most recently with team camps. We kick off our month of ranking updates this week with a look at the 2027 class as they head into their sophomore seasons this fall. Earlier this year, we unveiled the first batch of 2027 rankings with a top 25. This time around, we have a top 50. You can check out the updated rankings right here. In this post, we’re putting the spotlight on the quarterback position. This breakdown features every quarterback listed in the top 50, with the exception of

because he was covered earlier this week. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma every Monday this month for another ranking update!
There are few prospects in the state’s 2027 class that impressed us more this offseason than
Cooper Hooker

Hooker

Salina | 2027

out of Salina. The small school product is going to be one of the best players in his class this season and he’s only going to be a sophomore. This offseason, Hooker caught everything thrown his way on the 7v7 circuit and that just carried over from what was a dominating freshman season. Every time he touched the ball, he was a threat to score. Compared to some of the larger school prospects, Hooker might be flying under the radar but that would be a mistake because this kid can go.
Highlights
There’s no doubt that Jenks has had quite the offseason in terms of new additions and tight end
Braxton Daniel

is one of them. Daniel is a 2027 prospect that has been on our radar even before he entered high school. He spent his freshman season at Booker T Washington and he now enters a Jenks offense that is absolutely loaded at the skill positions and is going to be loaded for a long time. Daniel is also a standout on the basketball floor but after watching him run around this offseason at 7v7 tournaments and our camp in April, we’re looking forward to seeing how he looks in the new Jenks offense.

is a player that we have highlighted in this class that could have a dramatic rise up the rankings with his play this season. All the tools are there with Jordan, we just need to see it on Friday nights this fall. Jordan first stood out to us last spring, before he was even in high school as a standout at one of our Prep Redzone Next camps. From there, Jordan has put in a lot of work and the coaches at Broken Arrow are excited about his potential going into his sophomore season. He could end up becoming a breakout star for the Tigers this fall.
Southmoore wide receiver
Braylon Mullins

Southmoore | 2027

is our final player on this breakdown and his story this summer is very similar to Hooker. Mullins was an absolute star on the 7v7 circuit this offseason. He was a touchdown machine in some of the tournaments we covered and we’re very excited to see how he carries that momentum into this season. Southmoore is going to be relatively young and inexperienced on the offensive side of the ball. They’ll need some of those young playmakers to step up and that could very well be a player like Mullins. He looked great this spring. We want to see that again this season.
