2027 Prospects You Need To Watch

He's impressive from the pocket, he has good pocket awareness, he steps up into the pocket and avoids the rush while keeping his eyes down field to deliver accurate passes. In the upcoming season we will see Carter at Riverdale Baptist, who have a few good transfers coming in including him. Jones has good size and speed and is a weapon for Perryville already. His home run play was the counter last season, where he hit off a couple 40+ yards touchdown runs. He displays some breakaway speed, allowing him to get around the corner in the run game and he runs with some power, keeping his feet moving and fighting for extra yards after contact. National Christian used Durham mainly in the slot but put him position to exploit his strengths. He was used as a deep threat, in the screen game to show off his agility and shifty ball carrying skills, and even put up an impressive kick return. Durham transferred to Mt. Kane played some safety, outside and middle linebacker at just 5'10 175lbs. Thats good size for it to only had been his freshman year, but rare seeing that be able to play middle linebacker at the varsity level. He flies to the ball and is a hard hitter. He's quick shooting gaps and closes on the ball fast, while still being able to hold his own in between the tackles. He had 635 yards and 4 touchdowns, 100 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown, 489 total kick/punt return yards, and 4 interceptions. Thompson has big play speed, able to take the top off a defense and is a big play threat anytime he has the ball in his hands.
