A promising young Middle Georgia back who really opened some eyes last year, Waye brings excellent size for his age at 5-foot-11 185-pounds who will only get better over the next three years. He's not a burner, but he does run well and brings above-average speed for his size and his age. He sees the field well and knows how to get downhill in a hurry when he sees a hole open up. He can take on defenders, he fights for tough yards, and he certainly didn't run like your average freshman last year. The McDonough, GA native ran for 729 yards and four touchdowns last fall, averaging a strong 6.9 yards per game. He runs with balance, he's tough, and showed that he's one of the top 2027 back in Middle Georgia. He flashed D1 potential and should be even better this fall as a sophomore. His talent and tough running style was on full display last fall, and he has a chance to run wild as a sophomore next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1567281' first='Bryian' last='Duncan'] - Cairo

A South Georgia back with an excellent combination of speed and power, Duncan showed last year as a freshman that he's a young back with a lot of promise. At 5-foot-9 160-pounds, he's not the biggest back around, but he runs bigger than his size. He shows quickness, can make defenders miss, and shows good burst when he gets through the line of scrimmage. He runs hard behind his pads and did a great job of getting yards after contact for a freshman back. He ran without fear and ended the season with 524 yards and five touchdowns, averaging an impressive 7.2 yards per carry. That's a good number for anyone, but it's even more impressive for a freshman playing against older, bigger defenders on a weekly basis. Duncan is an easy 2027 back on the rise who should see more carries and opportunities to make plays as a sophomore in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='749221' first='Douglas' last='Callihan'] - Gilmer

One of the top young prospects in North Georgia, Callihan is an excellent three-sport athlete with really good size for his age at 6-foot-0 215-pounds. He's big and strong, bench-pressing 265-pounds while squatting over 500-pounds as a freshman. A do-it-all type of player who can make a big impact in all three phases of the game, Callihan totaled 502 yards last year with 391 coming on the ground, averaging 13.9 yards per game with 9 touchdowns. Defensively, Callihan is a promising young linebacker who made 28 tackles, nine TFLs, one INT, one sacks, one fumble recovery, and six pass-breakups. He moves well in space, can make plays in coverage, and knows how to tackle. He's a physical player and is bound for a giant sophomore season on both sides of the ball. He was a 2nd-team All-Region selection and could see some offers come his way down the road. Look for him to see a new Prep Redzone ranking come his way as well in the next 2027 update.
