I believe he will have a much better season as a sophomore and will be one I watch closely. Heard could find a way to become a top rushing quarterback as well, as he is quite hidden compared to some of the other quarterbacks in the class. He is one of the better players from the Ridgeland High School program and is one of the running backs who deserves to be watched closely in 2026, as he is due for an even bigger season. One where he pushes even closer to the 1,000-yard mark. Tatum was solid in 2025 and will be one of the better players for the team in 2026. When he is at his best, he is dangerous, and it is safe to say that he will be one of the better players in 2026, as he will probably be more consistent in this next season with more experience and weapons. Palmer is one to watch, as he will vertically torture defensive backs and will be one of the better tight ends both in the class and in the state as a whole.
