He can play both wide receiver and tight end, which is a big deal for a younger guy like him. It allows him to see the field very early in the season, as he is going to be a starter this year. Palmer is one to watch, as he will vertically torture defensive backs and will be one of the better tight ends both in the class and in the state as a whole. Palmer is a future college star, to say the least. He will be one who rises up the rankings quickly as well.

Palmer, who is up to 6’4 200, is ranked as one of the best 2029 TEs in Georgia and will be one of the tone-setters for the rest of the class at that position. Palmer is a massive, strong, physically imposing player. While still raw, you can watch how hard he is to tackle in space and understand the basis of intrigue here. Freshmen aren’t built like this too often, and he has so much room to grow, too.

Palmer is right on the heels of powers in our rankings, and he will look to make his case as the best tight end in attendance. He will be one of the guys we expect to make a true rankings push when it comes to the one-on-ones. Palmer is someone who is a headache with the ball in his hands, as trying to tackle him could be a bit difficult, all things considered. We are most excited to see the progression he has had since November, as he finished with one of the more impressive freshman seasons.

A tough young pass-catching tight end with soft hands and impressive balance, Palmer brings good size for his age and the ability to catch the ball on the run. He’s tough to tackle, plays hard, and is emerging as one of the top young tight ends in Gwinnett County. He’s caught 18 passes this season for 243 yards and four touchdowns. He’s made more and more off an impact as the season has moved along and has scored a touchdown in three of his last four games. His stock is rising, and if he continues to add more weight and improve his skillset over the next two or three years, Palmer could see some Power Four interest and possible offers.
