He’s a poised accurate passer and does a good job of anticipating his open receiver. He can drop the ball in the bucket to get the ball right over the defenders’ heads. Last season he passed for 1,910 yards and 17 touchdowns. Sullivan led the Bobcats to a 6-5 record a regional championship and to the second round of the playoffs.
Gorman was limited to only 33 carries on the season but averaged 4 yards per carry. His frame and running style allow him to plow through arm tackles and run over smaller defenders. Alot of his carriers were between the tackles last season and it looks as if that may be his bread and butter. Gorman was the second leading rusher on the team behind a senior who recorded 191 carries on the season, as that workload shifts to Gorman expect him to build some momentum through the season and put his full skillset on display.
Pierson is the next guy up at the Baltimore County powerhouse Milford. He’s been contributing on the varsity level since his sophomore year now and last year he put on a promising performance. Last season he finished as a receiving leader for his class and showed that he has multiple skills in his arsenal. He was used as a deep threat and showed some tough running after short catches and across the middle of the field.
Pierre is a heck of a talent, he has a great frame and shows a ton of athleticism. His strengths are in run blocking and making his presence felt in the screen game. He has the size and speed to lead ball carriers down the field and clear the way fast. Pierres recruiting activity increased this past May, now he holds 8 offers from schools such as UConn, Pitt, and Furman.
Fry made some noise while he was at St. Mary’s and carried that momentum into his season at Chopticon. He’s aggressive and plays through the whistle, looks for the next guy to block in the run game and even had a couple pancakes on the season. He showed some versatility last season switching from tackle to center, the talent still shined through as he was selected to the SMAC All-conference team.
