Heading into their senior season, these six quarterbacks are primed for a massive breakout, many hot off of fantastic junior campaigns. Today I'm going to break down some of their film and analyze them as prospects. Many of these kids boast top talent and are sure to be high-level prospects by the time they graduate. Enjoy!

[player_tooltip player_id='641133' first='Chase' last='Thompson'] 6'8" 215 lbs Alexandria

A giant of a prospect who has become well known for his talents on the hardwood, Thompson is more than a 3-star power forward, he's PrepRedzones top QB in the class of 2025. Thompson threw for an outstanding 2,000+ yards during his junior year and wields arguably the biggest arm in the state. Many QBs his size struggle with slow feet, but Thompson is quick and relaxed in the pocket. This combined with his elite arm talent is a key reason that he has blossomed into an elite pocket passer. He loves post routes and will launch the rock all over the field, creating headaches for opposing DCs. Arguably an early sleeper for next season's Mr. Football.

[player_tooltip player_id='485214' first='Peyton' last='Podany'] 6'3" 190 lbs Anoka

There are very few QBs who I'm as excited about as Podany. The state leader in regular season passing yards last season, he threw for an outstanding 2,100 yards and 20 TDs. Surrounded by a talented core, I expect him to pop off during his senior year. In the pocket, Podany is mobile and confident. He's often extending plays by several seconds, turning broken plays into touchdowns. The way he dances around defenders can almost be considered an art. He's already snagged one offer from St. Thomas, and I wouldn't be surprised if more rolled in over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='234766' first='Riley' last='Grossman'] 6'1" 185 lbs Lakeville North

Grossman has been a staple of high-level 6A football since I started this job. He threw for over 1,100 yards and tallied 17 passing touchdowns as a junior, and has done nothing but build on his previous year's success time after time. Grossman is fresh off an All-District and All-Metro season and looks to make another state run this fall. The lefty gunslinger is a play-action playmaker. He boasts a ton of varsity experience and you can see that in his decision-making. Grossman is ripe with arm talent, he's rarely seen underthrowing wideouts and is capable of stretching the field deep on both sides of the hashes.

Brady Kittleson 6'2" 185 lbs Blooming Prairie

Hailing from the small southern Minnesota town of Blooming Prairie, Kittleson is the state's 5th-ranked QB in his class. His confidence as a passer stems from his ability to consistently hit tight windows deep downfield. Kittleson has a sleek throwing motion and can adapt to different in-game situations seamlessly when plays break down. He's not only a capable passer however, time and time again he's proven that he can extend plays downfield on his feet. While he can run a little high at times, his speed and physicality more than makeup for it. Kittleson is a name to know going forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='362278' first='Gaven' last='Dean'] 5'11" 170 lbs Lakeville South

Although Dean doesn't play in as pass-heavy of an offense as some of our other prospects, his talent is clear to see nevertheless. When he gets his feet set, Dean can sling the rock across the field with ease. He isn't scared to stand in the pocket and take a hit if it means the ball finds its target safely. While he doesn't get to show off that arm talent all the time, when he does get his opportunities he's hitting tight windows and dropping the ball perfectly into the wideout's hands. Dean needs more hype as a prospect going forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='234931' first='Jack' last='Gross'] 6'4" BOLD

Another small-town prospect who found his way onto the top 10 of PrepRedzone's rankings, Gross is an accomplished football and basketball player who could shine collegiately in either sport. Gross is a talented lefty who can burn you with either his arm or his legs. In the pocket, he stands tall and can deliver strikes right into the receiver's breadbasket. When he takes a designed run, Gross wastes no time getting north and south and makes excellent cuts off of his lead blocker.
