Camp season has arrived here in Tennessee with our final showcase of the off-season taking place this Sunday at Oakland High School. Here we provide an in-depth look at the offensive talent expected on hand and some guys to follow throughout this weekend's action.

Quarterbacks

- It's always fun to get an up close and personal look at the guy's who throw the ball, the quarterbacks and it appears we will have a very talented crop of signal callers on hand this Sunday at the #PRZTN Spring Showcase. This collection of passers is more underclassmen heavy but we still have a few senior quarterbacks to know about.

The top two seniors expected on hand will be West Ridge passer [player_tooltip player_id='466230' first='Trey' last='Frazier'] and Sequatchie Co. gunslinger [player_tooltip player_id='279486' first='Sam' last='Evitts']. Both of these guys have talents to reach the college game. Frazier is budding with potential, standing 6'4 with a big arm and the ability to tuck it and run. Evitts is built in much of the same cloth and has a big opportunity this weekend to take his stock to another level.

Looking at the underclassmen, we should have multiple guys in attendance that should become top names in the state over the next two years. The #TN2026 class will be well represented with guys like [player_tooltip player_id='1153810' first='Taylor' last='Hasselbeck'] (Ensworth), [player_tooltip player_id='1562192' first='T.J.' last='Jenkins'] (Lausanne), Mekhi Abram (Germantown), [player_tooltip player_id='740872' first='Tristan' last='Colenberg'] (Cordova), Wilkins Biggs (Davidson Acad.), [player_tooltip player_id='567225' first='Luke' last='Finch'] (Hixson) and Clarksville Academy junior [player_tooltip player_id='1043649' first='Ethan' last='Bones'].

Hasselbeck is a smooth, right armed passer that could develop into a Top 10 quarterback. Jenkins, Abram and Colenberg all hail from the Memphis area with all three bringing different skill sets to the playing field and potential to eventually play on the D1, FCS level.

Biggs is new to the Nashville area after transferring in from St. Georges with a chance to make a name for himself this Summer and Fall as a Top 15 to 20 signal caller in the state. Finch and Bones are two developmental guys that show good throwing motions and pocket presence on film, so it will be interesting to see how they have progressed this off-season.

The youth continues with a strong foursome of #TN2027 signal callers expected to be in Murfreesboro this weekend. Beech quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1317766' first='Sawyer' last='Phillips'] is a guy to know about and follow moving forward. He is already building some recruiting buzz as potentially one of the best at his position for the sophomore class.

New Red Bank quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='474873' first='Josh' last='Jackson'] has some intriguing physical abilities about himself that scream college potential. Davidson Academy sophomore Mitchell Hall and Riverdale passer [player_tooltip player_id='866735' first='Donte' last='Cameron'] both appear to have bright futures ahead of them as the team's eventual starters but may have to wait their turn until veterans step out of the way. Phillips, Jackson, Hall and Cameron all show physical abilities and traits that could make them some of the best at their position for the #TN2027 class.

Running Backs

- Going through our list of running backs for this Sunday, what I see is a mixed bag of guys that are either top notch talents or players that are unknown and under the radar. The senior class should be well represented with guys like [player_tooltip player_id='390722' first='Sam' last='Pickett III'] (Marion Co.), [player_tooltip player_id='848834' first='Skylar' last='Thomas'] (Jefferson Co.), [player_tooltip player_id='497427' first='Caleb' last='Floyd'] (Stewarts Creek), [player_tooltip player_id='1257456' first='Josiah' last='Featherstone'] (Red Bank), Ashton Duckett (Christian Brothers), [player_tooltip player_id='815325' first='Gage' last='Lee'] (Camden) and [player_tooltip player_id='1146331' first='Grant' last='Gardner'] leading the way.

Pickett III just recently landed his first college offers and they won't be the last. The Warriors senior athlete could develop at multiple positions but I think his college potential might fit best here at running back. Thomas was able to share carries last year with a college signee but now it's his turn and he might be the biggest hidden gem from our #TN2025 running back class.

Floyd is an athletic ball carrier that just landed an offer from UT-Martin and could be on the verge of adding more. Featherstone, Duckett, Lee and Gardner are still waiting on those first offers to arrive but have been working hard and developing this off-season to potentially have breakout senior years.

The underclassmen this weekend are quite unknown to me at the moment, except for a handful of guys that are already under the scouting thumb and destined for the college game.

For the rising junior class, the biggest names to know about going into this weekend's combine are [player_tooltip player_id='1199149' first='Hicks' last='Hunter'] (Sycamore), William Mason (Chrst. Brothers), [player_tooltip player_id='1133241' first='Hunter' last='Uland'] (Cornersville) and [player_tooltip player_id='1222053' first='Jaiden' last='Bunch'] out of Coalfield. All four of those guys appear to be starters for their teams going into the Fall. Hunter in particular has put together a strong off-season where he has displayed outstanding athletic skills and the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.

Possibly the most talented back in attendance should be #TN2027 Beech ball carrier [player_tooltip player_id='1206523' first='D.K.' last='Williams']. This 6'0 well built rising sophomore has started to build a good name for himself this off-season, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he performs on Sunday

Receivers/Tight Ends

- This position may not have the depth for this weekend but it should still have a few guys worth paying attention to that have upside to reach the college game. The senior class won't have many but the ones to watch for this Sunday should be Trent Collins (Cleveland), [player_tooltip player_id='1145793' first='Kenny' last='Holt'] (White House), Jackson Vonderharr (Pope Prep), [player_tooltip player_id='783053' first='Eli' last='Graf'] (Alcoa) and sleeper wideout Dacoda Nolen, out of Jackson South-Side.

Collins has great size at 6'3 and the ability to work the “X” or “Y” position. Holt is a natural athlete that plays bigger than his size. Much of the same can be said for Vonderharr, who isn't ranked by #PRZTN yet but will be soon. Graf is an interesting case as he might camp at quarterback but his future sits best at either receiver or defensive back. Nolen is a basketball guy that appears to be taking his football future a little more seriously now.

Three rising juniors and one talented sophomore have my eye for this weekend. Oak Ridge wideout [player_tooltip player_id='331829' first='Will' last='Pressley'] has a chance to maneuver himself at the top of his position group for the #TN2026 with a strong summer camp season and a breakout Fall football year. Much of the same can be said for Brentwood Academy junior [player_tooltip player_id='889222' first='Garrett' last='Cyphers'], who should be stepping into a starting role this year.

Loomis-Chaffee (CT) wideout and former Christian Brothers player [player_tooltip player_id='1142023' first='Jeremiah' last='Robinson'] performed very well at our Winter Showcase and he is returning to back up that play and go after MVP honors. Blackman sophomore receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1103038' first='Brylan' last='Oduor'] is someone I'm very interested to watch as the Blaze playmaker shows on film the upside to become a top recruit for his #TN2027 class due his athleticism and speed.

Three tight ends destined for Murfreesboro this weekend have the chance to not only contend for MVP honors at their position but could be three of the better prospects in attendance. All three come from the #TN2027 class too with those guys being [player_tooltip player_id='483481' first='Malik' last='Howard'] (Oak Ridge), [player_tooltip player_id='454466' first='Jack' last='Evitts'] (Sequatchie Co.) and Concord Christian School sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1604375' first='C.J.' last='Simpson'].

Howard may develop into one of the better offensive prospects from the entire #TN2027 by the time we get to his senior year. He is a tremendous athlete with size, ball skills and the ability to run after the catch. Evitts is a big bodied young man that looks like your safety net and someone that sports upside as a run blocking tight end. Simpson is still raw and growing but the tools are certainly there to develop into a bonafide college prospect.

Offensive Line

- Besides the quarterbacks, this may be the deepest position group of everybody at the #PRZTN Spring Showcase this weekend as I can see at least 10 guys and maybe more that are worthy of P4, D1 or FCS looks now and moving forward.

The #TN2025 class should have the most talent at this camp but the underclassmen might surprise with possibly the best O-lineman of all. Oak Ridge offensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='466269' first='Ethan' last='Eubanks'] is coming to the Boro with some steam in his recruitment as schools are starting to pay attention to this guy and his upside to handle the pass rush in college.

Another potential offensive tackle who is looking to build some buzz this weekend is Page O-lineman [player_tooltip player_id='219378' first='Connor' last='Coffman']. Standing 6 '5 270 pounds, Coffman has been under the radar due to some unknowing if he would be in this class or next year but I'm positioning this guy for this cycle as tackles are needed and this Pats big man has the capabilities of handling the edge.

CAK senior [player_tooltip player_id='1106241' first='Zane' last='Fields'] and West Ridge big man [player_tooltip player_id='1277522' first='Trent' last='Tatum'] are two East Tennessee O-linemen coming to town that I have been scouting for a while and will be excited to watch both perform in person for the first time. Both these guys have the size and mobility to possibly play tackle but at worst, both Field and Tatum can move inside and excel.

Where the depth is for the senior class is inside where we should have multiple interior maulers on hand that can boost their stocks significantly this weekend and moving forward into the summer.

Some of the guys from the interior to know about for Sunday are [player_tooltip player_id='1102430' first='Jacob' last='Smith'] (McKenzie), [player_tooltip player_id='1206710' first='Grayson' last='Pitts'] (Smyrna), [player_tooltip player_id='1282486' first='Brayden' last='Rosenbarker'] (White House), [player_tooltip player_id='1102436' first='Zayne' last='Aqraa'] (Lausanne) and Tyce Reed from West Carroll. Smith and Reed are big bodied run blockers that can take their games to another level by showing increased athleticism and mobility this weekend.

Pitts is slowly rising up the charts as a versatile interior O-lineman that could handle guard or center in college. Rosenbarker is a good athlete that like Pitts, could play all three interior O-line positions. Aqraa is a true center that has excellent junior film. He could gain more weight and play some guard down the road as well.

The O-line youth should be on full display this weekend with the underclassmen possibly having the best O-lineman with the biggest upside. That guy is Cookeville junior [player_tooltip player_id='866469' first='Austin' last='Hoane']. Performing at our Winter Showcase last January, Hoane put himself on the map with a great camp performance and I expect nothing different this Sunday where this Cavs big man can continue boosting his stock and proving that he is one of the best at his position for the #TN2026 class.

Joining Hoane from the junior class is [player_tooltip player_id='866783' first='Jared' last='Bafford'] (Oak Ridge), [player_tooltip player_id='1668601' first='Watts' last='Liebenow'] (MUS), Noah Murray (Riverdale), [player_tooltip player_id='1136472' first='Daniel' last='Cepicky'] (Columbia Acad.), [player_tooltip player_id='820869' first='Jake' last='Coffey'] (Carter) and Jefferson Co. guard/center [player_tooltip player_id='1258053' first='Christian' last='Wilson'].

All six of those guys already show traits of making it to the big stage of college football with continued development and work inside the weight and on the playing field. Bafford is very talented with the potential to handle right tackle and both guard spots on the next level. Liebenow is built in the same way while bringing nice size to the table (6'5 290).

Murray and Cepicky are potential tackle prospects for college but will need continued work with their athleticism and bend. Both are very intriguing talents that I think will make a name for themselves as starters this Fall. Both Coffey and Wilson show me potential and upside to be starting centers some day or at worst, become run blocking maulers at offensive guard.

This is a strong collection of O-linemen that will be at camp with some others behind them that are on my radar to possibly have big performances this weekend and place themselves squarely on my and others' radar.
