Continue ReadingNothing that wasn’t expected here. Elijah Burnley Elijah Burnley 6’4″ | 270 lbs | DL Cheltenham | 2026 State PA , a Cheltenham defensive line prospect who recently ranked inside the top ten at his position, keeps up the heat on the recruiting trail. Burnley, who broke out earleir in the year with an offer out of Akron after their Philadelphia push. Kent State is understandably on a similar path as of right now. The Golden Flashes are making their presence known out East, making sure Burnley is buttered up via scholarship offer. For the soon-to-be junior, Power Four offers aren’t out of the question. He’s likely going to have to put forth dominant Fall tape to get calls from BIG10 programs, yet it isn’t out of the question, especially if he hits the camp circuit hard.

We last checked in on top-three linebacker Charles Belser Charles Belser 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA out of Imhotep Charter after he recieved an offer out of Notre Dame on Pot of Gold Day. Since March 17th, things were relatively quiet, to no fault of Belser’s own of course. Coaches have hit the road, Duke and Kent State both reached out to Belser, extending scholarship offers to the elite 2026 prospect. These both coming on May 2nd via Coach Infante and Coach Rymiszewski. Depending on Fall production/tape, I’d argue there is no real ceiling Belser can’t break through. Sky is truly the limit.
The number one linebacker, the 2027 that will station beside previously mentioned Charles Belser Charles Belser 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA , Zykee Scott Zykee Scott 6’1″ | 195 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2027 State PA pulled an offer out of Kent State this past Thursday. Penn State first inquired and offered Scott this time last year, with Kent State being the first offer obtained by the young man since. This young man’s time is coming, he’s ahead of the curve currently. Same sentiment expressed with Belser I express with Scott, there is no limitation to recruitment level, so long as he stays working the way he has.

For a bit of time, I had questioned whether or not programs were missing Eyan Stead through the star-studded Roman depth chart. Yet, since his Akron offer earlier this year, the top five DB prospect has heard back from ACC programs in the form of scholarship offers. Boston College and West Virginia University both offered Stead in recent weeks. On top of the ACC love, Stead Jr. broke onto a Big10 board, said board being Indiana Univerisity’s. Our ranking of Stead now more than justified.
The Kent State offer dump fell on Kareem Haqq Kareem Haqq 5’10” | 155 lbs | WR Imhotep Charter | 2027 State PA ‘s shoulders this past Thursday. We hadn’t heard Haqq’s name on the recuiting trail after his unreal playoff performance that forced Pitt and Penn State’s hand. The top 2027 wideout should be hearing from every FBS program visiting Imhotep in the coming months/weeks. The MAC offer doesn’t move the needle in terms of Haqq’s stock, it’s already through the roof. We are waiting on the the nations premier programs to inquire on Haqq’s potential, the bar will be set as soon as we reach this platform.

Ranked inside the top five at his position after getting late tape out of Joseph Sondah Joseph Sondah 6’2″ | 280 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA . In line to fill the great Jahsear Whittington Jahsear Whittington 6’1″ | 280 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA ‘s shoes in the trenches over at Imhotep, it’s nice to see some early recruiting love for the soon-to-be junior. Kent State serving as the young man’s first offer, certainly won’t be his last. Interested in finding out what Sondah’s ceiling is in terms of recruitment. It’s likely he’ll be a lock for looks among FCS and G5 programs recruiting Philadelphia, yet his current and future measurable projections suggest he could meet the thresholds put in place by some of the best programs in the country. 6’2, 280 with tape like Sondah’s, he’s bound to hear from many in the coming weeks. I’ll have my eye out.
Imhotep loses the great Kenny Woseley, who is now replaced with a similarly impressive DB in former Bonner corner Dylan Abram Dylan Abram 6’0″ | 160 lbs | DB Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA . We haven’t checked in with Abram since his early January surge (Temple, VA Tech, Akron). Since, the 2nd-ranked 2026 DB has accumulated offers out of Indiana (BIG10), Duke (ACC), and Kent State (MAC), along with being invited to the UA Next camp in New Jersey, where I saw Abram last offseason. People are underestimating how large an impact an addition like this could make. Replacing Woseley, a legitimate BIG10 corner is no easy feat, we’ll see if Abram is up to task.
Saint Joseph’s Prep held its college showcase yesterday, I imagine the program hosted many programs stationed across the Northeast. Duke was present, offering a 2027 Hawk who I feel has every chance in the world to be the top-ranked prospect in his class, this being Prep’s Brandon Lockley Jr. The ACC offer stands are Lockley’s first scholarship opportunity, you can bet it won’t be his last. Look for the likes of Syracuse and Boston College to inquire immediately, the programs might’ve been present at SJP’s showcase Thursday afternoon. I had the opportunity to see Lockley’s build progression and running skills up close a couple of weekends ago at our 7v7, his climb up the 2027 ladder will be inevitable.

Teams are finally becoming more comfortable offering Top100 prospect and Top10 OL Hunter Albright Hunter Albright 6’5″ | 310 lbs | OL Hollidaysburg | 2025 State PA . Back in Februrary, New Hampshire pulled the trigger on the Hollidaysburg junior. Since, the likes of Bucknell, Saint Francis, and Bryant Univeristy offer Albright scholarship opportunities in recent weeks. A testament to being patient, the writing was on the wall seeing Albright’s tape, seeing Albright work in person only solidified things for me personally. We’ll see if Albright can crack into the G5 realm, his skillset is worthy in my eyes. We at PRZ are proud to see him climb onto collegiate boards, his hard work bearing fruit in real time
