Here we compile a list of the state's top recruits from all classes & project out on where some of the younger athletes may end up. Please note, three classes are being represented (2025-27') so these aren't your typical rankings. If you are in the top 30, you are essentially listed among the top 10 prospects in your class.

Per usual rankings are based on who projects highest at the collegiate level, with size and speed being key variables. All offers and commitments have been updated next to each athlete's name, as we head into the showcase portion of the summer. There will be numerous offers given out over the next few weeks, starting with the region's premier event at Western Oregon on June 1st (Northwest Showcase).

Over the last few months, we have put together multiple breakdowns featuring the NW's top athletes. This list will focus strictly on Oregon and the top prospects within the state.

NOTES & UPDATES #51-75

At 6-7 and 6-6 [player_tooltip player_id='770046' first='Quinn' last='Wicklow'] and [player_tooltip player_id='402412' first='Joe' last='Weiler'] both have a chance to be big time recruits. A lot will come down to continued growth and progression as this year will be telling.

[player_tooltip player_id='511864' first='Mark' last='Wiepert'] of Wilsonville absolutely went off last season, but it's 5A ball and he's a baseball guy. [player_tooltip player_id='406770' first='Trevin' last='Laird'] of Tigard has good size and is one of the fastest rising recruits in the state for his class.

Two current 27's to keep an eye on include [player_tooltip player_id='709506' first='Deckard' last='Hale'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1242623' first='Cavan' last='Rogers']. Hale was an all conference athlete as a freshman and could be in the POY conversation next season. Rogers had an MVP type year for Team Lillard.

Other lineman who have a chance to do well at the next level include [player_tooltip player_id='527043' first='Brody' last='Sahlfeld'] and [player_tooltip player_id='285881' first='Lusiano' last='Lopez']. If Sahlfeld stays healthy he's probably an FCS starter. Lopez is easily one of the best on D within Oregon. It just comes down to size and where he projects.

There are handful of DB's on this list who could have their best years ahead of them collegiately. Both [player_tooltip player_id='285873' first='Kellen' last='Hicks'] and [player_tooltip player_id='511859' first='Madden' last='Tanuvasa'] return after 1st team all-conference seasons. [player_tooltip player_id='285876' first='Kameron' last='Rague'] has had to deal with some injuries but could be a standout WLB/SS at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='402418' first='Marcus' last='Post'] had a breakout freshman year and then got hurt last season. I wouldn't sleep on him. Two other kids in the secondary to be aware of include [player_tooltip player_id='1094719' first='Colt' last='Ness'] of Tigard and 2026 DB [player_tooltip player_id='914282' first='James' last='Wade'] of CC. Ness will likely once again be a state leader in INT's with Wade racking up some high-profile accolades this off season.

A few other athletes with a chance to blow up include [player_tooltip player_id='406755' first='Zyon' last='Floyd'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1112405' first='Kilian' last='Eddleman'] out of Lakeridge, and all everything receiver [player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] of Beaverton. Floyd is on multiple recruiting boards and Eddleman has a chance to be special. Luebkert is one of the top 26's in the NW and played out of his mind as a freshman & sophomore.

Last but not least [player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] of Jesuit. According to almost everyone who has watched him this off season, he is typically the best player on the field.

51.[player_tooltip player_id='770046' first='Quinn' last='Wicklow'] 6-7 220 26' T Jesuit OR

Wicklow is an outstanding overall athlete (basketball) with the frame to put on some legit size. The Crusaders John Andreas is one of the top line coaches anywhere, producing numerous D1 guys over the years. He has that type of ceiling.

52.[player_tooltip player_id='511864' first='Mark' last='Wiepert'] 6-1 200 25' ATH Wilsonville OR

The 5A POY & Oregon St baseball commit went for almost 2000 all-purpose yards and 20 TDs, while making 98 total tackles with 6 tackles for loss for the state champs. He's good enough to be a contributor for the football program.

53.[player_tooltip player_id='402412' first='Joe' last='Weiler'] 6-6 245 26' T Lakeridge OR

The very versatile 6-6 tackle had a great year on the offensive front, earning honorable mention all TRL honors. With continued progression and added size he has the potential of being a top line recruit within the region.

54.[player_tooltip player_id='709506' first='Deckard' last='Hale'] 6-0 200 27' ATH Grant OR

Hale has some of the best varsity film among freshman anywhere. He was an honorable mention all PIL selection and played at a speed rarely seen among young athletes. If he continues to grow and progress he will be a big-time recruit.

55.[player_tooltip player_id='406770' first='Trevin' last='Laird'] 6-2 200 25' ATH/S Tigard OR

I would expect Laird to make a significant jump up the rankings board if he continues his play. The 2nd team all TRL DB was clutch all year, finishing with 77 total tackles, 7.5 TFLs, 3 INTs, and 7 PBU's. One of the top stat lines in the conference. His combination of size and ability to make plays on the perimeter will have him listed as one of Oregon's best.

56.[player_tooltip player_id='406767' first='Wyatt' last='Smiley'] 6-4 195 25' WR West Linn OR

Smiley is a 2x honorable mention all-conference WR and should have a big senior campaign. The Lions spread the ball around with so much talent.

57.[player_tooltip player_id='402418' first='Marcus' last='Post'] 6-0 180 26' Lakeridge OR

Post racked up all conference honors on both sides of the football as a freshman, finishing as a 2nd team all TRL selection this past year. He currently ranks among the top 15 players in the state for his class and should be able to back that up this off season. In only 3 games as a sophomore, he totaled 25 tackles with 2 INTs.

58.[player_tooltip player_id='904355' first='Rocco' last='Graziano'] 6-2 205 25' K Sheldon OR

One of the top kickers in the West. Graziano's overall athleticism makes him an appealing recruit, racking up 1st team all-league honors at WR. He hit on 8/9 field goals while making 36 of 36 extra points attempts.

59.[player_tooltip player_id='285873' first='Kellen' last='Hicks'] 6-1 175 25' Safety Mountainside OR

One of the fastest rising prospects in Oregon. Hicks earned 1st team all-Metro honors, finishing with 5 INTs and 58 total tackles. He is a big reason the Mavericks will rank as a top 5 program next season.

60.[player_tooltip player_id='511859' first='Madden' last='Tanuvasa'] 6-0 175 25' DB Mountainside OR

Tanuvasa is another kid who plays the CB spot but may project as more of a Safety or WLB. He earned 1st team all-Metro honors and comes from a talented family with D1 genes. Expect him to get out on the camp circuit and showcase what he can do.

61.[player_tooltip player_id='527043' first='Brody' last='Sahlfeld'] 6-4 260 25' OL Glencoe OR

Head coach Ian Reynoso started for the Ducks on the O line and knows what a D1 lineman looks like. He puts Sahlfeld in that conversation as a 2x all conference athlete, who will be in the mix for Pacific Conference lineman of the year honors next season.

62.[player_tooltip player_id='406755' first='Zyon' last='Floyd'] 5-11 175 25' CB Lakeridge OR

Floyd was a 1st team all-conference DB and could be a state leader statistically next season on the offensive side of the ball. He had 28 catches with 671 all-purpose yards as a junior.

63.[player_tooltip player_id='285881' first='Lusiano' last='Lopez'] 6-2 240 25' DL Lake Oswego OR

Lopez has been one of the top defenders in Oregon the last two seasons, racking up back-to-back 1st team all TRL honors in the state's toughest conference. He has added size and will be a POY candidate next season.

64.[player_tooltip player_id='1242623' first='Cavan' last='Rogers'] 6-0 160 27' ATH Oregon City OR

Coach Lillard called Rogers maybe the fastest rising player in his program. His domination in the secondary at Oregon City speaks to that. He has the potential of being one of the best in the TRL as a sophomore.

65.[player_tooltip player_id='1011382' first='Angel' last='Valenzuela'] 5-11 190 26' Mt View OR

Valenzuela torched the competition at the 5A level as a sophomore with the Cougars making a state title appearance. He averaged 7 yards per carry, rushing for a state high of 1,816 yards and 28 TD's. He will be a 5A POY favorite the next few years with his projection depending a lot upon what he does over the off season.

66.[player_tooltip player_id='285876' first='Kameron' last='Rague'] 6-1 195 25' South Medford OR

The 2022 Oregon 3A POY made the transfer to South from Cascade Christian & continued to do well at the 6A level. Rague was a 2nd team all-conference selection at DB and possesses some unique intangibles on both sides of the football.

67. [player_tooltip player_id='511878' first='D'Marieon' last='Gates'] 5-8 160 25' ATH Central Catholic OR

The 1st team all Mt Hood slot receiver had an outstanding year, going for 690 all purpose yards and 7 TDs. He was equally impressive on the defensive side of the ball.

68.[player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] 6-0 170 26' ATH Jesuit OR

People have raved about Stimpson and what he has done in 7v7. He will be thrust into the spotlight at Jesuit with some talented D1 kids graduating.

69.[player_tooltip player_id='914282' first='James' last='Wade'] 6-0 165 26' DB Central Catholic OR

Look for Wade to play a big role next season in the secondary and be a factor on the 7v7 circuit. His 14 tackles and 2 INTs are just a glimpse of what he could do in the coming year, recently earning Under Armour All American honors at their event.

70.[player_tooltip player_id='769922' first='Zach' last='VandenBrink'] 6-1 200 26' West Linn OR

One of the NW's best baseball players should play a key role for a top ranked Lions team next season. He is very similar to brother [player_tooltip player_id='152361' first='Ryan' last='Vandenbrink'] who was one of the best RB/LB's in Oregon and is committed to OSU for baseball.

71.[player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] 6-2 170 26' WR Beaverton OR

Luebkert has played phenomenal football the last 2 years, earning 2nd team all-Metro honors as a freshman and doing the same thing this season. The Beavers were 3-15 the last couple years making the accolades that much more impressive.

72.[player_tooltip player_id='285871' first='Kaden' last='Martirano'] 6-2 205 25' QB West Salem OR

Martirano came back from injury nicely, earning 1st team all-league honors. Look for the Titans to be a conference title favorite next season, after dropping the hammer on Sheldon 42-21 this past season.

73.[player_tooltip player_id='1112405' first='Kilian' last='Eddleman'] 6-1 210 26' LB Lakeridge OR

Watch his speed and anticipation on film while playing the LB spot and you see why he will rank as one of Oregon's top defenders. As noted numerous times, playing TRL ball will help a great deal.

74.[player_tooltip player_id='1094719' first='Colt' last='Ness'] 6-0 170 25' Tigard OR

Another kid who had an outstanding year and finished among the state leaders in INTs with 5. Ness is a talented basketball player who uses his overall athleticism to jump routes in the secondary and continuously make plays.

75.[player_tooltip player_id='1110957' first='Heath' last='Thompson'] 6-1 195 26' Westview OR

One of Oregon's fastest rising sophomores. Thompson has legit size and speed, earning 2nd team all-Metro honors this past season, and rushing for 976 yards and 5 TDs.
