Our spring camp tour continued on Thursday in Claremore and we got a chance to see some outstanding players and teams from the Tulsa area and surrounding area as well. In this report, we’re taking a look at a dozen of the top standouts from the camp. We were there right when things got started and took in some good football before moving on to our final stop of the day in Wagoner. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for that report. In this breakdown, we have a good mix of players that we’ve known about for a while along with some new faces that could and should be impact players for their respective teams this fall.
Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK – 2025 Athlete – Tahlequah
Tahlequah 2025 standout Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK is going to be one of the better playmakers in Class 5A. The Tigers are dropping down from 6A-2 and after watching Robinson in person, specifically on the offensive side of the ball, he has a chance to be one of the top receivers in the class. Robinson is an extremely underrated prospect in the state’s 2025 class and more people (us included) need to start thinking of him in a different level. We knew he could play but watching it in person just gives you a different look. Robinson made play after play and just like the best ones do, he made it look easy. Don’t be surprised if 5A opponents see the same thing and the same kind of production from him week after week this fall.
Brad Hoisington Brad Hoisington 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB Claremore | 2025 OK – 2025 Quarterback – Claremore
There is plenty of player movement around the state and it’s nothing new, despite the new transfer rule that will officially open up on July 1st. But an underrated move this offseason was 2025 quarterback Brad Hoisington Brad Hoisington 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB Claremore | 2025 OK going to Claremore. The Zebras are coming off arguably their best season in recent memory but they have a lot of production to replace, specifically on the offensive side. Hoisington was incredibly productive last year and he had a really good showing on Thursday. The Zebras ran multiple quarterbacks out there but when we got a chance to see Hoisington, you saw a quarterback with good size that could beat a defense with his arm or his legs and had the size to hold up while moving on the run.

– 2027 Running Back – Lincoln Christian
Lincoln Christian is the defending 3A champion but the Bulldogs have to reload on the offensive side of the ball. One of those players that we expect to have a significant role is 2027 running back

and we saw him for the second time up close on Thursday. Our first time was back in January when he was one of the top performers at our camp for the running back position. Baker did a good job that day and he had a solid performance in Claremore. The Bulldogs had an excellent rushing attack with multiple guys last season. Baker could be just one of multiple guys that impact Lincoln’s running game. But we think that he’ll be ready for it when his number is called to step into the Bulldog backfield.

at the quarterback position. We’ve seen him play safety after his breakout sophomore season but we know expectations were high for him and Lincoln’s offense is going to keep rolling with another standout quarterback in the backfield. Ricke can absolutely sling the ball and we’re impressed with his size. He’s the younger brother of Chase Ricke, who had a lot of success at Lincoln and Carter looks like he might have an inch or two advantage in the height department. On Thursday, Ricke was doing a lot throwing on the run and the accuracy was just as high on those passes as when he was standing in the pocket and firing darts.
Isaiah Ellis Isaiah Ellis 6'1" | DL Edison | 2025 State OK – 2025 Defensive Lineman – Edison
We saw some outstanding football throughout the afternoon and evening in Claremore but perhaps the most dominant football came from a new name. Edison 2025 defensive lineman Isaiah Ellis Isaiah Ellis 6'1" | DL Edison | 2025 State OK is a player that we did not know prior to the Claremore camp but he immediately got our attention when he was on the field. The big defensive tackle absolutely dominated the line of scrimmage when he was out there. There were instances where Ellis got such an immediate and significant push back that he nearly sent the center crashing into the quarterback and running back during the handoff. Ellis is incredibly strong and packs a punch. Opponents will have to double team him just to try and keep him contained.

– 2026 Tight End – Booker T Washington
The first player on this breakdown that we did not know about prior to the team camp was Booker T Washington 2026

at the tight end position. Howze immediately caught our attention with his size and we liked how the Hornets used him on the offensive side of the ball. Howze has size at around 6’2-6’3 and moves well for that size. Howze also becomes an extension of the offensive line and is very physical in blocking situations. After watching him take rep after rep, it also looks like he has a high on-field IQ. He always seems to be in the right place and making smart football plays. No surprise here that Booker T Washington has another potential breakout player coming up through the ranks.

in person and with the pads on. He dominated our camp in April and was one of the top guys at his position and then he did it again on Thursday. Coming off a dominant freshman season, expectations are high for Graves coming into this season. During Thursday’s camp, Graves was a big problem right in the middle of the line of scrimmage. Similar to Ellis at Edison, he was a match-up nightmare for opposing offensive linemen. Eventually, like Ellis, Graves had to be double teamed and even when that happened, if teams tried to run up the middle, it was a big problem as Graves simply clogged up the middle of the line.

was another new name for us that we didn’t know about prior to the camp in Claremore. There were some really solid offensive linemen in attendance on Thursday and Barley was right there near the top of the list. Lining up at left tackle, Barley did a great job of controlling that side of the line of scrimmage. On run plays, he absolutely paved the way for the Miami running game. His size and overall skillset allowed him to wall off multiple defenders, clearing the running lane for several Miami running backs. In fact, we were very impressed with Miami’s offensive line as a group. They have good size and some solid playmakers. The Wardogs could be a dark horse in a loaded Class 4A.

is an offensive lineman prospect that we really like in the state’s 2026 class. But on Thursday, we actually saw him have more reps on the defensive side of the ball. That’s just the way the schedule worked out but we aren’t complaining because he went to work and really showed that he can dominate on either side of the line of scrimmage. For now, we’re keeping Ballinger on the offensive side when it comes to him as a prospect. But we won’t be forgetting the type of impact he had on the defensive side of the ball. In the reps that we did see him take on offense, he lived up to the hype as one of the top prospects at his position. Pass blocking or run blocking, he did it all.

is a prospect that we got very familiar with this offseason on the 7v7 circuit. So it’s no surprise that Farley was a wide receiver standout on Thursday in Claremore. When the Hornets wanted to throw the ball down the field, Farley emerged as one of their top targets. He’s a wide receiver prospect to keep an eye on moving forward this offseason and into the season. If Thursday was any indication, he’s going to be a brutal match-up problem for defenses. Farley has size, speed and excellent hands. If the ball is thrown relatively close, he finds a way to come down with it. He made more big catches throughout the afternoon in Claremore.

got our attention after earning an offer from Arkansas State. This is another example of a prospect flying under the radar but not anymore. We were fired up to see Alexander in person and he did not disappoint. On offense or defense, Alexander was a very productive playmaker throughout the afternoon in Claremore. When you combine Alexander with fellow 2025 standout

you have a terrific 1-2 punch on both sides of the ball. Alexander is long and athletic threat at wide receiver. On defense, he made some spectacular plays in the secondary. He lived up to the hype after watching the Edison standout in person.

is not a new name for us after his fantastic freshman season. From the start of his freshman year, Ragland was a starter and an impact player for the Bulldogs in their state championship season. And then we saw him in person in Claremore and his stock went up before he even took the field. It looks like Ragland has gotten significantly bigger in the last six months. Both in height and spending time in the weight room. He’s looking more and more like a traditional defensive lineman and the play on the field went to a new level as well. Ragland had a really strong performance in Claremore on Thursday and we’re looking forward to seeing what he does for the Bulldogs this fall.
