Senior standout Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK has been an absolute stud since his freshman season and he doesn’t get enough credit for what he can do on the football field. In our opinion, he’s one of the more underrated prospects in the state’s 2025 class and he has to be hungry to get back on the field this season. Robinson was limited to just six games during his junior season because of an injury but he was still the team’s leading receiver. He finished with 41 catches for just over 700 yards and seven touchdowns. He was also an impact player in the run game and a standout on defense as well. We think he’s going to be one of the top two-way players in 5A football this fall.

Tahlequah standout Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK is the only safety-type prospect we have on this breakdown. Although we could see Robinson playing a variety of positions at the next level. Just like Grayson at Beggs, Robinson is arguably Tahlequah’s most versatile weapon and can do so many different things on the football field at a high level. But when we look at Robinson as a prospect, we’re starting to lean to him becoming more of a safety at the next level with his combination of size, athleticism and overall leaping ability. He has good instincts and does a great job of being in the right place at the right time. He’s primed for a big season this fall.

Tahlequah will open up their playoff journey on the road against Putnam City. Arguably Tahlequah’s best player is junior standout Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK at the wide receiver position. Robinson is a terrific looking athlete and has had several games where he’s posted some eye-popping numbers. It began in their season opener against Sapulpa when he went for over 150 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He also recently had a strong performance against defending champion Stillwater late in the regular season, so he’s playing with confidence. If Robinson and the Tigers are able to get first ever playoff win in 6A-2, they’ll have a rematch with district foe Stillwater in the quarterfinals.

We’ve written this before when talking about Tahlequah’s 2025 athlete Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK but we think he’s the best overall athlete on the team. When you combine what he does as a wide receiver and as a defensive back, he has such an impact on the game and has the potential to be a real game changer for the Tigers this fall. Robinson was their leading receiver a year ago and also made a significant impact on the defensive side of the ball. With Leep graduating, the Tigers will need Robinson to take the next step, specifically on defense to replace his production. But as the new starters emerge on offense and specifically at the skill positions, we anticipate Robinson to be the number one playmaker on that side of the ball from the receiver position.

When we updated the 2025 rankings in October, we mentioned how Tahlequah’s Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK should probably be listed as an athlete because of what he does on the offensive side of the ball at wide receiver. However, we’re stubborn, and we think that Robinson is more of a defensive prospect when it comes to the next level. But there’s no doubt that Robinson has the ability to be a wide receiver at the next level as well, we just think his ceiling right now is a little higher on the defensive side of the ball. Robinson is arguably Tahlequah’s best overall athlete and it feels like that was the case last fall as well. The coaches are going to continue getting creative with getting Robinson on the field and having him be a game changer for them. The versatility in his game is off the charts.

We have Tahlequah sophomore Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK listed as a defensive back in our prospect rankings but he is much more than just a safety for the Tigers. This season, in Tahlequah’s first season up in 6A-2, the Tigers are headed to the playoffs and Robinson is a big reason behind that. In addition to being one of their best defensive players, Robinson is also the leading wide receiver on the offensive side of the ball. In fact, Tahlequah has a few young players on offense that makes them a team to watch out for moving forward. The Tigers hit the road to face Ponca City in the first round and Robinson will attempt to have a complete impact on the game on both sides of the ball.

This might be the last ranking update that Tahlequah sophomore Beckett Robinson Beckett Robinson 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Tahlequah | 2025 State OK is listed as a defensive back. In fact, we probably should have just changed his position to athlete during this update. Robinson has been a breakout star for Tahlequah as a slot receiver this fall. You throw on his tape and you see him making play after play on the offensive side of the ball. We still like what Robinson has done on the defensive side as he’s been an outstanding safety that plays centerfield for the Tigers and has ended up coming down with a few interceptions this season, in addition to making tackles in the open field. As an athlete, the thing that jumps off the charts to us when watching the film is his ability to understand angles on the field. Whether it’s on offense or defense, it seems like he always makes the right decision.
