Our next recruiting hotbed that we are checking out, and coaches should as well, is Elkhorn HS. Elkhorn has several impact players all over their offense that are noteworthy for college coaches. From QB to OL to TE out to WR. The passing game should be very effective this fall, and the OL has athletes on it that will be able to bully their opponents and gain the tough yards when they need it. There are several hidden gems on this team to know, so let's dive into the tape.

George is a powerful OL who is putting in the work this offseason to become even more of a mauler. That includes squatting 500 lbs now. George offers a very sound base of talent to coach up at the next level. He is quick out of his stance and locks onto his DL in the run game and is able to bully them off the line of scrimmage. George also has the body control and agility to be able to land blocks on LBs in space despite them being smaller and more elusive athletes. Rentas brings the mentality that he wants to dominate his opponent to the trenches and it leads to him finishing a lot of kids into the dirt, setting the tone. The '25 OL plays OT currently, but he looks like a future guard at the next level. Take a look at his tape.

Brett has carved up defenses with his impressive accuracy since he was a sophomore on varsity. His control over where he places the ball has gotten him attention from the next level. It doesn't matter if it is from the pocket, rolling out, or off platform. Brett can hit his intended spot so his man can keep running after the catch without missing a beat. Brett has solid technique from his quick feet to a consistent release. His arm strength gives him the ability to get the ball 20 yards downfield with solid velocity and will continue to improve as he gets bigger and stronger. Don't sleep on him this fall.

One of the solid 2025 WR prospects that Elkhorn will field this fall is the 6'3" 180 lbs [player_tooltip player_id='1209433' first='Hudson' last='Krauklis']. Hudson eats up yards with long strides that give him effective speed to create big plays for Elkhorn. The offense did a good job of creating touches for him outside of just passing. We see him line up in the backfield and show some solid vision with the ball in his hands. He also uses that speed to get around the edge on the ground. His vision and instincts also shine with the ball after the catch whether that be out wide/downfield, or in the screen game. Don't be surprised to see a productive year come from the soon to be senior WR.

The 6'2" 205 lbs TE is an athlete to watch for teams looking for a TE/H-Back type of athlete. Mark doesn't have the old school TE size, but he has a solid frame and athleticism that can be utilized on LBs to create a mismatch. He has 4.7 40 speed and shows that he has solid concentration and hand eye coordination to reel in the limited passes he saw. Mark makes a big impact in the run game. We see him get up to the second level and meet LBs head on and create a push in his favor. That power shows up right out of his stance too as he can drive a DE off the ball with a wide base and good hand placement. Mark's best football is ahead of him. Check him out.

Another pass catcher in this offense to keep an eye on is the 6'1" 160 lbs [player_tooltip player_id='1209449' first='Wyatt' last='Texidor']. The takeaway is that Wyatt does a great job of finding the ball and getting in position to have a chance to reel it in. Including a catch that didn't even look like it was intended for him. Once he finds the ball in the air he gets underneath it. He also does a good job of going up and getting it. He doesn't wait on the ball and give the DB a chance to disrupt the catch. The 2025 also plays after for Elkhorn. His film is below!

Nathaniel is a bulldozer at guard for Elkhorn. The 6'2" 270 lbs guard is quick out of his stance and shows consistent leg drive through his block to create an effective push. Nathaniel is light on his feet, allowing him to pull across the formation and he turns that quickness into power on initial contact to clear running lanes. Those quick feet also help him position himself so he is between the ball and defender in the run game. I want to see him improve his hand use. A lot of the time we see him lead with the shoulder and that won't work at the next level. If he can improve on his technique there he has the tools to be a name for the D3 level to keep an eye on this fall.

Zion was a utility player for Elkhorn in 2023. He saw action at TE/H-back/wing/HB where they got the 5'10" 160 lbs junior involved through the air and on the ground. In the passing game Zion provided a nice mismatch against LBs as he attacked the flats and then could get up field or make an LB miss one on one. Perron also stretched the field horizontally on the ground on jet sweeps. Zion has solid speed to get to the edge. I am interested to see his role this fall in his senior season.
