From the first touch I saw Lotzeir Brooks Lotzeir Brooks 5’11” | 170 lbs | WR Millville | 2025 State NJ receive in-person as a freshman nearly 4 years ago at the first Battle of the Beach against Union, I immediately knew he was different. Fast forward to today, Brooks is headed to the country’s most decorated college football program in Alabama. As reported by other media outlets, Brooks also received a boost in his recruiting rankings.
Is it a spring game or a spring fling? While visiting Boston College earlier in the week, Don Bosco’s Rhett Morris Rhett Morris 6’3″ | 285 lbs | OL Don Bosco Prep | 2026 State NJ announced on Twitter that he has received an offer from the Eagles. Not a surprise to many who follow the New Jersey’s recruiting scene, expect Morris to amass many more offers as the rising sophomore still has two full seasons to play.
Highlights
The Dawgs just got a dawg. Georgia, one of the nation’s top college programs, landed Hillside’s Darren Ikinnagbon Darren Ikinnagbon 6’5″ | 230 lbs | DL Hillside | 2025 State NJ . A defensive end, Ikinnagbon will go from dominating Group III football here in New Jersey to dominating the trenches “between the hedges” in Athens, playing SEC ball, for the next several seasons.
For our next prospect we head down the shore, as Barnegat’s outstanding edge player Cole Toddings Cole Toddings 6’2″ | 195 lbs | LB Barnegat | 2025 NJ , recently announced some serious interest as it pertains to his recruitment. Within the last week Toddings announced via Twitter that he has been invited to join the US Air Force Academy by way of Division I scholarship. This is a big offer for Toddings, as I am certain more will start to flow in.
