Jacobsen comes in ranked as our top defensive back in the class of 2025 with his prototypical length. Jacobsen is a long rangy safety that can not only cover in space from hash to hash but can also set inside the box and tackle. One of the smoothest athletes in and out of his transitions with a really quick trigger after diagnosing route concepts. A sure tackler that really fills the alley well and has the ability to really time up blitzes. Should be a household name on all scouting reports this season.
Jones is another safety prospect that has prototype length and athleticism. A player who really gets off the hash with ease and plays will excellent eyes. A sure tackler that really plays in the alley well but does an excellent job in coverage especially in off man where he is able to use his speed and size to his advantage. He is a player that opposing quarterbacks will have to keep their eye on all season.
Coey is a high IQ football player that is really able to diagnose plays quickly and react quicker. A player who really is able to be in the right spot at the right time and has really good feel for the game. A safety that is really able to impact the passing game where he seems to be constantly around the football. A sure and willing tackler in the run game and someone who has a knack for creating turnovers.
Traverso has excellent ball skills in the backend where he is able to constantly make plays on footballs in the air. His ability to really track the football and then catch it with soft hands allows him to be an impact defender on every snap. He has a really good understanding of the game and gets off the hash quickly whether to intercept the football or in run support. He is a player that would not be surprising if jumped up the rankings quickly after a stellar junior season for Bishop Kelly.
