The 15U division will be exclusively at Downington West High School and I’ll be there from start to finish. Before the tournament begins, we’re taking a look at some of the programs to watch and the players that will be making plays this weekend. In this post, we’re putting that spotlight on the Above 9 7v7 squad out of New York! These are just some of the players that we’ll have our eyes on this weekend.
Chase Mctague – Quarterback/Defensive Back
Above 9 has some very talented and productive wide receivers coming this weekend but Chase Mctague will be the quarterback making things happen from the backfield. Mctague will also play on the defensive side of the ball and he would earn honors and playing time as a defensive back last fall. Mctague is going to be a fun two-way player to watch and we’ll see which side he ends up being the most valuable.
Freddy Conyers III – Wide Receiver
There might not be another player in the 15U division that has been more productive than Freddy Conyers III at the wide receiver position. These numbers are just insane. Conyers has accounted for 1,500 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns so far in his high school career and he definitely fits the description of a player to watch this weekend. We’re very interested to see what kind of production he has in Pennsylvania.
Jordan Baker Jordan Baker 5'10" | 160 lbs | WR Glens Falls | 2026 NY – Wide Receiver
Similar Conyers, wide receiver Jordan Baker Jordan Baker 5'10" | 160 lbs | WR Glens Falls | 2026 NY was very productive last season. When you consider these guys are young in their varsity careers, it’s impressive to see. Last fall, Baker would account for nearly 500 yards receiving and nine touchdowns on the season. The 1-2 punch of Conyers and Baker is going to be very entertaining to watch this weekend and will be a nightmare to slow down for defenses.
Rex Banning – Wide Receiver/Defensive Back
Our final player to watch is wide receiver and defensive back Rex Banning and just like the three other prospects listed, he has our attention because he got some significant playing time at the varsity level last fall. Banning joins a squad that has some very productive wide receivers this weekend and it should be fun to watch this group go to work with so much experience on the offensive side of the ball.
