Ioane posted a productive freshman season for Cheyenne totaling 58 tackles and a team-leading 8 sacks. He’s a versatile piece on the DL with the physical strength and athleticism to play the 3-tech or kick outside to DE. He gets into the backfield with a quick first step, is a gritty block-shedder, and moves well in pursuit. Look for Ioane to continue to establish himself as one of the early top defenders in Nevada’s 2027 class.
Gasperosky led all 2027 WRs in the state in receiving with 46 catches for nearly 900 yards and 10 TDs as a freshman last season. He’s a talented playmaker on the perimeter with a promising WR skillset and natural athleticism with the ball in his hands. He possesses strong hands as a pass-catcher, can cut on a dime, and stresses defenses with his speed and elusiveness in the open field. Gasperosky will look to build off his productive freshman seasons as the top returning receiver for PAC in the fall.
Lutu’s an up-and-coming LB that showed promising physicality and violence as an ILB for Bishop Gorman’s freshman squad last season. He’s a quick, athletic mover that wastes no time getting downhill to hammer ball-carriers between the OTs. He shows dominant strength and power when dealing with blockers and is a force creating negative plays in the run game. Lutu’s a prospect to keep on the radar while he continues to develop and wait for his number to be called.
Fletcher showed flashes of athleticism and playmaking skill in his freshman season for Sierra Vista. He’s a fluid WR with promising quickness and body control out of the slot. He’s continued to develop his skillset this offseason and should see a more significant role as a sophomore.
Highlights
Silbernagel was an effective playmaker out of the backfield for Centennial last season leading the team in rushing with 66 carries for 330 yards and 6 TDs as a freshman. He’s a tough, leg-churning ball-carrier with a strong receiving skillset out of the backfield (27 catches, 500 yards, 6 TDs). He’s an efficient runner between the OTs that can make the first defender miss at the LOS and picks up tough, hard-earned yards through the teeth of the defense. Silbernagel should continue to be a focal point for Centennial’s offense as one of the top returning playmakers for the offense next season.
