’26 DT | Richard Stewert | Detroit MLK | Twitter
H: 5’11” W: 260
Richard is a high-upside defensive tackle with good explosiveness off the line of scrimmage and good anchor. His biggest strengths are his getoff and play speed. There are times when he does a very good job at getting off the ball and working toward making a play, even if his athleticism isn’t stellar. With a bit of a wider block-shedding skillset and better speed, be could be a game-wrecker in the near future.
’26 ATH | Carson Lovett | Cass Tech | Twitter
H: 6’0″ W: 190
Carson currently holds offers from Marshall, Charlotte, BGSU, EKU, and Louisville. His sophomore tape showed flashes of good speed, vision, and athleticism as a running back. It doesn’t look like Carson was an every-down starter, but it does look like he made the most of his opportunities, and I’d expect him to take a big step up next season, considering his offers. I’d also be very interested to see verified testing numbers from him; I’d expect good results.
’26 MLB | Kristian Wheeler | Detroit MLK | Hudl
H: 5’10” W: 210
Kristian is yet another highly-skilled Detroit Area Linebacker. Good size, downhill speed, and reaction time. Kristian does a good job at working downhill to cut off an outside run. He also does a good job finishing gang tackles. He needs to work on his aggression and overall play speed. Looking forward to seeing what Kristian is able to do as an upper-classman.
’26 DE | Darius Summers Darius Summers 6'3" | 205 lbs | DL Cass Technical Highschool | 2026 MI III | Cass Tech | Twitter
H: 6’3″ W: 185
Summers is a raw but promising defensive end prospect. He sports good motor + physicality and made a few good plays against other Detroit Public School teams last season, but he didn’t play much against top competition. I have a wait-and-see approach to Darius, but he will find himself on the Rankings Watch List during the next update.
’26 QB/ATH | Davion Reese Davion Reese 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Cass Tech | 2026 MI | Cass Tech | Twitter
H: 6’0″ W: 173
Davion is someone who I’m very optimistic about moving forward. His Sophomore film shows that he mostly went in during garbage time in games that weren’t competitive, but he did make some good plays. As a quarterback, he threw the football with solid accuracy and proved he could be a solid pro-style QB if called upon. His athleticism adds another layer to his game, as he’s easily able to scramble and earn extra yards. What I love most about him isn’t even in the film. Sound Mind Sound Body 7on7 plus Quarterback training makes me very optimistic for what lies ahead.
’26 DT | Rondrez Mccloud | Detroit MLK | Hudl
H: 6’2″ W: 235
Although his highlights are short, Rondrez has a few excellent plays against great competition. He can play anywhere on the D-Line, and he plays with high-end speed and motor. Whether he’s lined up on the interior or outside, he has an explosive getoff with violent hands at the point of contact. His tackling seems very good and is overall a very high-upside defensive lineman. I’m very curious to see how Rondrez continues to develop.
’25 ATH | Joseph Tate | East English | Hudl
H: 5’11” W” 175
Tate was a highly productive player for East English last season, totaling 1125 yards, 20TDs, and 4INTs. He’s a versatile two way player who made a lot of great plays. Defensively, he plays fast and does a great job at breaking on the ball. His good instincts led him to his four interceptions. Offensively, he’s East English’s best open-field player. He has the speed to outrun most defenders in this league, and he has the athleticism to make guys miss. My gut says that Tate is a good Division 3 prospect and he should test his skills at offseason camps.
