High-Risers In The 2027 Class Rankings

He's got true collegiate size already as a freshman. His arm length is incredible, almost like he's slightly elastic. His footwork is up and coming and it's something you can see he clearly spends time on. Sometimes, guys that big can be a bit clumsy. Fortunately, that's not the case here with Maxey. He's coordinated and moves fairly well. I expect him to be a full-time Varsity player as he heads into year 2. There's a good chance he moves up on the next update, but for now this is where he lands. He's a fantastic athlete who is built like a young bull. He's thick, has muscle everywhere, and clearly spends a good amount of time in the weight room. He's fairly explosive and can level a ball carrier and make it look easy. He's confident on the field and other guys feed off of that. Watching his tape, you'd think he's an upperclassman with the way he's built and pursues the football. However, he's only a freshman and that means we've got years of development to come. 64 tackles 3 TFLs, and 1 sack for Hines was a successful freshman year. What he just accomplished during his freshman season was fantastic and well deserving of any future looks he may get. He's a thick and tall LB who can cover a ton of space in a hurry. He's not going to miss tackles and is as sure handed of a tackler as you'll come across. He knows how to come to balance properly and attack the outside hip. He's also got really strong hands so he's got a tendency to strip the ball away. There were times watching his tape where it seemed like he was all over, but it's just who he is on the field. 98 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, 1 interception, and 2 forced fumbles round out his freshman campaign. He came in and right away week 1 was a big play hitter for that offense. Not only did they make an effort to get him involved, they didn't really need to try. Ensor does a lot of it himself because he's just that talented. He's explosive and has no issue getting behind the defense. He has very little wasted movement off the line and can cut on a dime which is why he's such a good deep threat. He averaged over 30 yards per catch this year and put up 788 yards and 11 TDs on 28 catches.
