is a huge hitter that teams have to account for. The 6-foot-0, 225-pound linebacker plays with a chip on his shoulder; he has very good closing speed and a nose for the ball. If left unblocked, Hines can deliver big hits on opposing quarterbacks and is quick to wrap up running backs in the flat. Very good closing speed, range, and explosiveness. Franklin College is his fist offer. Recorded 110 tackles last season.

is an under-the-radar middle linebacker with great pursuit, instincts and range. The 6-foot-0, 235-pound linebacker is quick to read-and-react on the run and flashes great burst to shoot through gaps and tackle ballcarriers. Keep an eye on his development as well as performances at college camps next summer.

Hines had himself a really solid day on Sunday. He’s a 2027 recruit with a good build for his age standing at about 5’10” and 205lbs. He’s a very good athlete and looks way older than a freshman. His confidence on the field is noticeable and he doesn’t shy away from a challenge. He’s got good closing speed and tracks the ball really well. He consistently took good angles and never got beat once. He’s also a fairly explosive athlete and is likely someone just beginning to reach into his bag of potential. The raw ability Hines has is pretty obvious. If he can develop throughout his high school career, he’ll have no issue finding a home at the next level.

There’s a chance that having Hines at 19 is too low. There’s a good chance he moves up on the next update, but for now this is where he lands. He’s a fantastic athlete who is built like a young bull. He’s thick, has muscle everywhere, and clearly spends a good amount of time in the weight room. He’s fairly explosive and can level a ball carrier and make it look easy. He’s confident on the field and other guys feed off of that. Watching his tape, you’d think he’s an upperclassman with the way he’s built and pursues the football. However, he’s only a freshman and that means we’ve got years of development to come. 64 tackles 3 TFLs, and 1 sack for Hines was a successful freshman year. He put himself on the map and is now set to take off over the next few years if he continues to play and develop at this level.
