is a two-year starter at defensive tackle. We’ve evaluated Vaughn before, but inside the building the staff is excited about his future as an Oriole. With a quick first step, strong nose for the ball and flashing plenty of twitch and explosiveness, expect Vaughn to play a huge role in 2026.

Vaughn held his own as a freshman on Varsity and made it clear he belongs. He’s a high motor player who plays with effort and physicality, especially against the run. He finished the season with 25 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, and a sack, showing he can make plays behind the line and stay active in the front seven. For a freshman at that level, it was a strong year and one that sets the stage for a big leap heading into year two.

Vaughn is an incredibly exciting recruit who already flashed as a freshman, has good size, and did well with the reps he got. Vaughn’s frame is real, and he’s been in the weight room for years, and it’ll be worth the work down the road. I anticipate that by the time this class is done, Vaughn’s name will be towards the top. He’s got strong hands and can fight through contact. He’s got a quick first step and, for a guy his size, moves very well. He rotated in as a freshman in 9 games and recorded 21 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, and got his first sack. Vaughn is talented and someone schools will get to know soon.

Vaughn held his own in the trenches as a freshman, earning a starting spot up front and making the most of it. He’s got a compact build that he’s still growing into, but he plays with a high motor and doesn’t take snaps off. He finished with 16 tackles, a handful of TFLs, and his first sack, showing he can disrupt plays and stay active. He’s tough, dependable, and only scratching the surface of what he can become.
