They are multidimensional in their skillsets, and have not specialized yet in any one position, giving them a lot of flexibility for the future and the ability to thrive in multiple roles. Here are some of the 2027 ATH that need more recognition entering their 2nd year.
A two way starter and the lead kick return man for Delran, Jayden is on a path to develop into a star in every aspect of the game. As the returner, Jayden sliced up coverage teams and found seams as he navigated through them with speed. Don’t be surprised at all if he takes a few to the house in his sophomore campaign.
As Jayden puts on more size over these next few seasons he will become not only become a deadly weapon as a wideout but has the potential to be a true lockdown cornerback as well. Jayden’s dimensions indicate he will always be one of the fastest players on the field and has the length to snag the ball out of the air regardless of what side of the line he lines up on.
Highlights
A sharp cutter, Jayden Holt-Grandy Jayden Holt-Grandy 5’10” | 180 lbs | ATH Absegami | 2027 NJ has the qualities to become an unstoppable force at the running back position. Running low to the ground, Jayden is able to react quickly and make adjustments on the fly, making it very difficult for defenders to keep track of him. A powerful runner as well, Jayden runs with aggression and can be found dragging defenders as he makes his way across the field. Keep an eye on Jayden as he continues to develop at Absegami.

A lightning quick receiver, Stalin Knowlden Stalin Knowlden 5’7″ | 145 lbs | ATH St. Joseph Regional | 2027 NJ is in line to become one of the next great receiver’s coming out of St. Josephs. Not only is Stalin an absolute burner, but his receiving skills are some of the best in the class. He has elite catch radius and can change directions and accelerate to create distance from the defender.
With the ball in Stalin’s hands, you know some magic is about to happen. He is shifty with his hips, and his visions allows him to carve through defenses as he heads towards the end zone. Stalin is the Watchlist athlete I anticipate to rise the quickest into the rankings.
No Hudl to break down for Maurice Davis Maurice Davis 6’4″ | 170 lbs | ATH Glassboro | 2027 NJ , but it’s safe to say he’s a star in the making. Part of one of the most talented underclassmen rosters in the state, Glassboro has another weapon in their arsenal. Standing at 6’4″ as a freshman, Maurice overshadows upperclassmen and will be hard to stop as he continues to add muscle to his frame. A WR/TE and DE, Maurice is already getting noticed from collegiate programs as he stands out amongst others in his class. This is a name you need to get familiar with ASAP.
