Troy Velez Troy Velez 5’10” | 180 lbs | RB Geneva | 2025 State IL battled through injuries during his junior year but still managed to be productive in the 2023 season. He recorded 99 carries for 520 rushing yards and scored a total of 6 touchdowns. As a running back, he excels at quickly hitting open holes and getting downhill with full speed. Velez demonstrates great agility, making defenders miss with his ability to cut without slowing down. Additionally, he proved to be a valuable asset in the passing game, showcasing his ability to catch balls out of the backfield.
