The 6’4″ 180 lbs WR from Breeze Central seems to be slipping under the radar a bit. The tape has a lot to be excited about. He does the typical things you want from a big-bodied WR. You see him go up and get it at the high point. He uses his body well to box out DBs. His long strides cover ground at a deciding quick pace. Griffen also does things you don’t see a ton of big weapons do at this level. He shows quick feet that allow him to run effective routes or use double moves to get DBs to bite. Griffen is a well rounded WR. From snap to snap on his highlights you never know if he is going to fly by a DB for a long TD, flatten an LB in the run game, or pile up the YAC on short catches as he breaks through tackles. He is a weapon that can be relied on out wide. Check out his highlights.
