2025 Rankings Update 3.0: OL/TE

With that being said, it is time for another round of rankings updates. The third update of our rankings for the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky has been officially posted! Over the next week or so, I will be doing positional breakdowns at each position. After already covering the quarterbacks, runnings backs, and wide receivers, here are our top offensive linemen and tight ends in the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["373082"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='373082' first='Isaac' last='Sowells Jr.'] has continued to establish himself as one of the top overall players in his class. Sowells made the move to right tackle this past season where he continued to dominate as a run blocker. He explodes out of his stance and finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in several pancake blocks. Sowells is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge with ease. He lines up at guard where he stands out the most as a run blocker. Stotts does a great job of exploding out of his stance and creating movement off the line of scrimmage while also showing the ability to get up to the second level to pick up blocks in open space. He is also a reliable pass blocker, showing the ability to keep a strong base and not allow much penetration into the backfield. He lines up at left tackle where he is a true mauler in the run game, showing the ability to drive his man several yards down the field with ease. Stewart also does a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in open space. He is also a very impressive pass blocker, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. He has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in the open field as a lead blocker. Anthony is also an impressive pass blocker, showing the quick footwork to get into his pass sets to mirror opposing pass rushers. Hayes lines up at left tackle where he is very impressive in pass protection, showing the ability to get into his pass sets quickly to mirror opposing pass rushers. He also keeps a strong base, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Preston has also shown reliability as a run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man down the field to create a running lane. He played a key role in the passing game this past season, catching 24 passes for 321 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. Carr is a big bodied tight end that does a great job of catching the ball at its highest point away from his body. He has also shown the ability to get up the field and break tackles after the catch to pick up extra yards. Carr is also a very impressive blocker, finishing his blocks through the whistle with a ton of physicality. He also does a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in open space. Andrew has also shown some reliability as a pass catcher, finishing this past season with four receptions for 82 yards.
