. Spacek lines up at center where he is very reliable as a run blocker. He does a great job of getting the snap off quickly then getting to the second level in a hurry to pick up blocks in the open field. Ashby finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. He is also impressive in pass protection, showing the ability to pick up stunts/blitzes and defeat pass rush moves with ease. Spacek doesn’t currently hold any offers but he has received some college interest and has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

. Spacek lines up at center where he is very reliable as a run blocker. He does a great job of getting his snap off quickly then driving through his man to create movement off the line of scrimmage. Spacek is also impressive as a pass blocker, showing the ability to pick up blitzes/stunts with ease while keeping a strong base, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Ashby doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way soon as he has received some college interest and has the talent to play at the next level.

What stands out the most about Spacek is his ability to lock in at the line of scrimmage, prolonging the time of possession with his ability to absorb pressure and contain the opposition in the pocket. I also like how Spacek can prevent the defense from using the edge, proving his strength and ability to protect his quarterback in crucial scenarios.

is a player that has been on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out this season. He lines up at center where he is a very impressive run blocker. Spacek does a great job of getting the snap off quickly and driving through his man to create movement off the line of scrimmage. He finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in several pancake blocks. Spacek is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to pick up stunts/blitzes and protecting his inside gap. Ashby doesn’t currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on going into his senior season.

, an offensive lineman at Mayfield High School. Spacek and the Cardinals collected a 58-36 rout of Lexington Christian Academy last week. What impresses me most about Spacek is his outstanding size and ability to exert his strength quickly and efficiently off the snap. plays on both sides of the ball at Mayfield, he played defensive line on Sunday. He was a player that truly stood out during the 1v1 drills. Ashby is very explosive with his first step out of his stance and is able to gain leverage quickly on opposing offensive linemen. He also showed that he has the strength to drive straight through offensive linemen and shed blocks quickly. Ashby also showed some impressive pass rush moves that were very effective throughout the 1v1 drills. Spacek doesn’t currently hold any offers but should be a player to watch this season as he has the talent to play on either side of the ball at the next level.
