About Creed
Expert Analysis
Kevin Spencer | Prep Redzone Scout
Creed made his presence felt as the starting strong safety, playing with a physical, downhill style that closely mirrors a linebacker. He thrives in the box, where his instincts and toughness allow him to consistently step into the alley and finish plays. Haley is a reliable tackler who shows comfort in open-field situations, breaking down well and staying under control rather than overcommitting. His ability to keep his feet through contact, instead of lunging, helps him secure tackles and limit extra yardage.
What separates Haley is his athletic movement skills paired with that physical mentality. He shows the ability to change levels, bend, and redirect efficiently, allowing him to transition from run support to coverage responsibilities without looking out of place. Whether he’s fitting the run or turning to run with receivers, Haley looks comfortable and confident, giving him versatility that adds real value to the defense.

, most of which is offensive film of him running the ball, his physicality quickly takes center stage. In the few defensive plays of I’m that I’ve seen, there’s a throwback style to his game. All-Time Great Safeties like Ronnie Lott and John Lynch immediately come to mind, as does current four-time Pro Bowler Derwin James. It can likely go without saying, but Haley is a major plus in defense against the run. Plays with RB vision, DB agility and LB tackling ability.
