First off, Tai has a GREAT offensive line name! The 6’5 285 pound prospect is an excellent left tackle. Looking at his film, his first 7-8 highlights are pancake blocks in the run game. He has excellent footwork, and he can excel in a zone-based or power-based run scheme – he shows great agility on both inside and outside zone plays. He can come off the ball on a straight-ahead power block, and he can pull and lead up on 2nd and 3rd level defenders, fit inside the frame, and deliver some impactful blocks. His offer list is impressive – his most recent offers are from Florida, Rutgers, Marshall, West Virginia, Connecticut, Temple, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Penn State, Auburn, and Duke since January! Great prospect.
Jimmy Randazzo – Weddington
At 6’5 and 300 pounds, Jimmy was literally one of the big reasons Weddington walked away with an impressive state championship this past season. Currently Jimmy has offers from Charlotte and Yale, but I definitely expect interest to continue to grow with him as he gets into the spring and summer camp season. Looking at the film, Jimmy is a powerful right tackle that can move his feet well and mirror defensive ends in pass blocking situations. He comes off the football well and excels at drive blocking on down blocks and steps well in zone blocking schemes. He does well in getting to the 2nd level and cutting off linebackers. He also shows good agility – on a fold block in his highlights he did a good job with his technique especially.
Braxton Grace Braxton Grace 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL Forest Hills | 2025 NC – Forest Hills
Braxton has been on my radar for a couple of years as an offensive line prospect. At 6’2 and 290 pounds, Braxton has the ideal size to compete at the Division 1 level as a Center. He has an offer from Charlotte currently and has a lot of interest from other programs. With a 4.3 GPA, he will be able to go just about anywhere he likes! Looking at the film, Braxton’s ability to snap and step to a shaded technique is excellent both in the run and pass game. Pass blocking wise, he is very strong and can stop a defensive tackle’s bullrush at the line of scrimmage. He has a number of pancakes on film showing this exact skill. In the run game, he works off double teams well and can climb 2nd level and fit linebackers. He also can drive block and create running lanes against down defensive linemen.
Nolan Irwin Nolan Irwin 6'6" | 285 lbs | OL Northwest Cabarrus | 2025 State NC – Northwest Cabarrus
When I first saw Nolan’s film as a prospect, I was shocked he was a 2025 player, because he looked very refined to me, reflective of a more experienced prospect. That speaks to the level of coaching and training he has received. At 6’6 and 280 pounds, Nolan is a big reason why Northwest Cabarrus is a strong program. From a recruiting perspective, he has offers from Miami (Ohio), Dartmouth, Cornell, Elon, Marshall, Temple, & Charlotte just in the last two months. Looking at the film, Nolan is a dominant run blocker, excelling at straight ahead blocking in a power scheme. He does well in working 2nd level on both zone scheme blocks and as a puller, showing good speed and agility, able to cut off defenders and open lanes for running backs. As a pass blocker, Nolan is athletic and can stay in front of defensive ends as a right tackle, not giving up leverage or a short corner off the edge.
Montgomery Edwards Montgomery Edwards 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL Marvin Ridge | 2025 NC – Crest
A 6’2 and 275 pound center prospect, Montgomery was a 1st Team All-Conference selection in a good league this past season. He also sports a 4.0 GPA which is great – you always want your center to be a very intelligent player! Montgomery currently has some college interest at this time, and I would expect he picks up more attention from a recruiting standpoint as he enters the spring and summer camp season. When you take a look at the film, he has a number of pancakes blocks in both the running and passing game, reflective of his overall strength. He shows the ability to work in tandem on double team blocks, and to come off 2nd level against linebackers in the run game. He can handle pass blocking against defensive tackle’s effectively as well.
