At 6’1 and 225 pounds, Coleman has been a strong member of the Bulldogs defense for the past couple of seasons. He is primarily an edge player with a strong 3.0 GPA to match his game on the field. When looking at his highlight film, a couple of strengths of his game stand out. He does a good job of rushing the passer at the defensive end spot with various pass rush moves, with good closing speed to affect the quarterback. Ian also does a great job of keeping outside leverage in the run game and shows the speed and athletic ability to run down ball carriers who run away from him. Ian has offers from Marshall, Presbyterian, Charlotte, and Boston College.
Bryce Lee Bryce Lee 6'3" | 220 lbs | ATH East Mecklenburg | 2025 NC – East Mecklenburg
Bryce may not be a name you know that well, but I can tell you he’s a legit prospect. Standing at 6’3 and 250 pounds, Bryce has been an All-Conference selection in both football and track – and he specializes in the shotput in the track arena. As for football, he shows some impressive burst and physicality coming off the edge of the defense, sometimes being able to make plays in the backfield untouched due to that special ability. Bryce also shows the ability to play off blocks well against the run, maintaining outside leverage while using his hands to shed blocks effectively. Bryce currently has a lot of college interest, and I’d expect that to turn into some offers sooner rather than later.
Douglas Quarles – Corvian
Douglas broke onto the scene this past season, piling up 15 sacks on defense, while also playing offense and totaling 20 catches. At 6’5 and 200 pounds, he is starting to pick up some college interest and offers, as he received offers from Coastal Carolina and Kentucky in the first two months of this year. I came to know him as I highlighted him on social media after a big game, and when you watch his highlights, you can see why colleges are interested. Incredible burst off the edge is the first thing that is prominent, just a pure athlete. Secondly, he shows great athleticism, as he catches several jump balls as a wide receiver, and he then tips a ball to himself and gets an interception from the defensive end position. Douglas is also a good basketball player, and these are the kind of prospects that can really start picking up a lot of offers once they get to the camp season. He is one to watch for sure.
Jadyn Farmer Jadyn Farmer 6'4" | 260 lbs | DL Butler | 2025 State NC – Butler
With offers from Boston College, Charlotte, Troy, and Marshall – colleges noticed the talented big man, and rightfully so. About a month ago, Jadyn committed to Charlotte, which is a great get for that program and it has to feel good for Jadyn to be able to stay home and play for a program on the rise. As a prospect, Jadyn stands at 6’5 and 275 pounds and shows a lot of talent in both stopping the run and rushing the passer. As a run-stopper, Jadyn does an excellent job of using a great get-off at the snap to get his hands on offensive linemen and shed blocks. He is capable of making solo tackles in the backfield for losses, as he shows athleticism to chase down runners running away from him. As a pass rusher, he uses his hands in combination with pass rush moves well, and shows good short space closing speed as well.
Charles House Charles House 6'5" | 295 lbs | DL North Mecklenburg | 2025 State NC – North Mecklenburg
If you are reading this, you probably know this name pretty well. Charles has been on the radar for the past couple of years as a defensive line prospect, and his offer list is a long one. We’ll list the most recent offers here: Temple, West Virginia, Indiana, Florida State, LSU, Tennessee, and Georgia. At 6’5 and 295 pounds, Charles officially claims 16 Division 1 offers in total. So why does everyone want him? He is a very strong interior defensive lineman who shows athleticism that is not normal for someone that size. He has an incredible burst off of the football, sometimes getting in the backfield untouched and making sacks and tackles as soon as the play starts. He is a disruptor who has to be double-teamed to TRY and slow him down. Which opens up linebackers and other defensive linemen to make plays as well. He has named his top six schools as Georgia, Miami, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, and LSU.
Cameron Cyr – Hough
I had not heard about Cameron, but I was referred to check out his film as a possible player who could have a breakout season this year. I was definitely impressed with what I saw. At 6’2 and 215 pounds, Cameron is a defensive end who gets off of the football very well and causes disruption on a regular basis. Before I get into the highlight film analysis, Cameron lists a 4.53 GPA on his profile, which is an awesome thing – he will be able to play anywhere he wants with that. Cameron gets his hands on offensive linemen with a strong punch and then is able to read the play and shed blocks well. There are also instances where he just uses his speed and get-off to get into the backfield quickly before an offensive lineman can get his hands on him, and Cameron is able to make tackles and sacks in the backfield. I’m impressed with Cameron’s strength at the point of attack – he is able to move much bigger offensive linemen with ease per his film.
Cam Dixon – Hopewell
Cam was another player that I didn’t know much about, but with him being a 1st Team All-Conference selection in one of the toughest conferences in the state, I was eager to get to know him some more. He is 6’0 and 290 pounds, a stout interior defensive line prospect. He was also named his team’s defensive MVP for the season, an impressive feat. Looking at Cam’s highlight film, he just does not get moved, he is a strong presence who played both defensive tackle and defensive end for Hopewell. He shows the ability to split double teams and make tackles for losses in the backfield. Cam also shows some athletic ability in space to chase down quarterbacks and force hurries in the passing game.
