Included we have several division one offers to go along with another week showcasing a commitment to an in-state program.
Check out last week’s recruiting report HERE
A standout DE/OLB for Monsignor Farrell, Clarke picked up his fifth offer from Fordham. Clarke now holds offers from Bowling Green, Georgetown, Lehigh, and New Hampshire in addition to Fordham and is one of the top defensive prospects in NYC.
Filardi may be committed to Syracuse for Lacrosse but he shows a lot of potential at the quarterback position. Filardi just picked up his first football offer from Stony Brook. I would imagine that Filardi could be a highly sought-after dual-sport athlete for some programs. He is, to my knowledge, the first athlete in the state to hold division-one offers in multiple sports.
Highlights
I missed some of Tarozzi’s offers from the previous week but the talented LB prospect has six division one offers, all from high academic institutions. His list has Penn, Cornell, Lehigh, Brown, Columbia, and Colgate. Tarozzi a LB prospect from Xavier in New York.
Highlights
Shepherd made his debut in this article series last edition with an offer from Buffalo. This week he picks up his second division one offer from Syracuse giving him the two FBS options in the state early in his recruitment.
Highlights
Riddick, who is picking up some momentum received two Ivy League offers this week. Princeton and Yale both jump into Riddick’s recruitment. Riddick who has gotten offers from from division one schools in 2024 is one of the hottest names in New York.
Highlights
Mann, one of the premier prospects in the state continues to rake in offers from P4 teams. Mann, who has been a regular on our recruiting reports picked up offers from Boston College and West Virginia this week.
Highlights
Enright, who was a dominant offensive lineman on a Canisius team that was dominant running the football picked up his first offer from Georgetown. Enright, who has a 4.0 GPA is a guys I expect to receive interest from several of the high academic institutions around the north east.
Watson, a dangerous WR prospect who will make a big debut in our 2025 rankings update picked up an offer from Navy. Watson now has offers from Army, Navy, Cornell, and Bethune Cookman and should continue to grow as one of the top prospects in the state.
Commitments
In what I would call a very successful first season on Varsity showcasing his speed and athleticism. Gibbs got his first offer and committed to Syracuse this past weekend. Gibbs a standout sprinter has the size and speed that Division One programs covet and his tape shows a positionally versatile player who could end up playing multiple positions at the next level.
