This article serves less as an analysis of these prospects’ abilities and more to showcase all the news on D1 recruitment throughout the entire state in one place for college coaches, fans, parents, and prospects. While I am working through updating our New York Rankings, these are some of the top prospects through the entire state, some have been playing varsity for a long time with plenty of early accolades and some names are just starting to break through.
Alozie, who is repeatedly showing up on these recruiting reports picked up an offer from Cornell, his first FCS offer and 3rd overall division 1 offer.
Highlights
There may not be a hotter name in New York than Gillians. In March he has picked up six offers, three of which came this past week from a collection of FCS schools such as Monmouth and two in-state schools Fordham and Colgate.
Hawn continues to bring in offers from both P4, G5, and FCS schools. Hawn now up to 14 offers just picked up his 3rd IVY league offer from Dartmouth. The OT prospect has plenty of suitors as he continuously makes visits through the spring.
Highlights
Hampton, one of the best 26′ prospects in the state just picked up his 3rd Big Ten offer with an opportunity from Wisconsin. Hampton now has 10 FBS offers including several big local programs.
Williams, who has a collection of P5, G5, and FCS offers picked up his 8th offer from UMass this past week in what has been a strong 2024 for the OL prospect from Archbishop Stepinac.
Highlights
Riddick picked up what I believe is his first offer from Army this week. The OLB/SS for Long Island Lutheran has been a varsity contributor for multiple years and had a very strong junior season.
Riddick also picked up an offer from Army this week which brings his total to three. The EDGE prospect from Long Island Lutheran now holds a P4 offer from Duke, a G5 offer from the Army, and an FCS offer from Cornell. A collection of opportunities with very reputable universities.
Highlights
Mann continues an extremely impressive spring which has let to multiple P4 and SEC offers. It was only a matter of time but now Boston College has entered the fold offering Mann who is now up to 9 D1 offers.
