Expert Analysis

Hawn, for the last two seasons, has held down the tackle position for CBA-Syracuse, and he is one of the better athletes playing the offensive line position in the state. Hawn is a long, lean tackle who moves really well in space and excels getting his hands on smaller defenders in the screen game.

is the most recent New Yorker to stay home and he does right in the backyard of where he is currently playing HS ball at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse. Hawn is a big tackle prospect who shows plus athleticism at the point of attack as a run blocker and in space 1v1 in pass pro. A talented prospect with good potential makes Syracuse his next home.

Hawn continues to bring in offers from both P4, G5, and FCS schools. Hawn now up to 14 offers just picked up his 3rd IVY league offer from Dartmouth. The OT prospect has plenty of suitors as he continuously makes visits through the spring.

is a really good pass blocker and played in an offense that was not afraid to drop back. Hawn is a solid athlete and has a unique low stance. Hawn can win by getting low but also use power and anchor against bull rushes on the outside. A really well-rounded prospect who has some solid measurables and high upside.

is a 6’6, a lean 260-pound left tackle out of Christian Brothers Academy. Technically sound, Hawn should have plenty of FCS schools in the New England area ready to send the letter early. Hawn has plenty of room to grow, both physically and mentally, yet I can tell this is one of those linemen prospects you want to get your hands on as early as possible. Hawn moves seamlessly through the trenches, he almost looks like a tight end at times considering his slim frame. Slim might not be the correct adjective. Hawn is asked to pull at tackle, with CBA often leaving the opposing EDGE prospect unblocked and in line to be blocked by Hawn. I’d love to see more punishing finishes out of Hawn, a nitpick to his tape. Aggression and confidence in his game can develop over time, he is still an underclassman.
