After a solid season on varsity, Gibbs followed it up with a great track season and started to get noticed by some college coaches. He officially committed to Syracuse earlier this year and the Orange have a tremendous athlete to work with. Gibbs is one of the fastest prospects in the entire state. His “Track Speed” is evident on tape, as he can break away from defenses and hit those home run kinds of plays to change a game. He’ll most likely play defensive back at the next level and be a great addition for Syracuse’s secondary in the future.

In what I would call a very successful first season on Varsity showcasing his speed and athleticism. Gibbs got his first offer and committed to Syracuse this past weekend. Gibbs a standout sprinter has the size and speed that Division One programs covet and his tape shows a positionally versatile player who could end up playing multiple positions at the next level.
