<p>"Attitude reflects leadership captain." This is the energy now in Colorado and it starts from the college scene and has trickled down consistently into the high school and youth ranks. Why? Because there is attention like never before on this Centennial State. With that being said, the running backs being spotlighted are not disappointing on being able to compete on a national level and their screaming it from the mountain tops. Here are five ball carries looking to make the smooth crossover into Friday night lights.</p>

His contact balance is second to none how he runs with a low center of gravity paired with a strong drive in his lower half. Burton is elusive in and out of holes finishing runs with a rip or stiff arm. You cannot ignore his acceleration once he sees daylight. This young man is a big play threat more times than not with the pigskin tucked in his arms. Film shows how many ways he can be used affectively. RPO, screen, toss, sweep, zone, he has experience in all of these schemes. No wonder he's flooded with an array of MVP honors at events of his choosing.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["983302"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='983302' first='Elijah' last='Cromwell'] reminds me a lot of D'Andre Swift. His build and progression to and through the line of scrimmage is elite. Great vision and runs on the balls of his feet with force through contact, He will make the transition into high school without a hiccup due to work ethic and skill development. He just keeps getting better. Defenders need a solid game plan if they expect to get this ball carrier on the ground. I like his last minute moves when on top of a tackler that keeps them off balance. Explosive + vision = a deadly combo for chunks of yardage. My man is next up and his older brother was just named the freshman of the year from Missouri Western. Definitely one to keep tabs on.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["984542"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='984542' first='Olajuwon' last='Jones'] is a proven champion with a polished skill set in both the run and passing game. He will take what you give him, and if you're not careful, it will turn into the chains being moved to the other end of the field. He's compact with good body control. I like his ball skills and understanding of how to get open in routes. Can carry the pill or line up in the slot. Can't wait to see more from this dual sport athlete in the future.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1215746"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1215746' first='Synceir' last='Smith'] is a slashing running back that relies on speed and his athleticism to get to the end zone. He has good hands and changes direction in the blink of an eye. His go to is putting his foot in the ground and running against the grain finding seams to exploit. Smith is confident outside the numbers where he can get one on one with defenders. With some more maturity and size he will make a push at the next level.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1214797"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1214797' first='Charlie' last='Kroell'] is a football player. Old school hard nosed, unapologetic in his approach. More of a fullback or short yardage back but that's where he shines. You better bring a buddy with you to stop his momentum. Has good footwork and gives maximum effort. Kroell's toughness is displayed on both sides of the ball and he can turn on the switch to bring it or deliver it. You can tell he's a smart kid and takes pride in being a leader on the football field.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65fc356d6df0b"} /-->
