As we enter the 2024 high school football offseason, we have been releasing our rankings updates in the state of Kentucky. This past month has been dedicated to the class of 2027, which is a class that is loaded with talent. Over the past couple weeks, I have focused on the top five players at each position so now I wanted to focus on some key players at each position that landed outside the top five that I believe people should be paying close attention to. With that being said, I will be doing a “Stock Watch” series highlighting each position in the 2027 class. After already covering the quarterbacks and running backs, here are some 2027 wide receivers to keep an eye on.

He finished this past season with 14 receptions for 236 yards and two touchdowns in nine games. Jointer lines up on the outside where he is an impressive route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. He is also dangerous after the catch, showing the speed to turn up the field to pick up extra yards. Omari is also a very reliable blocker, showing the ability to pick up blocks in open space and drive his man out of the picture. Jointer doesn't currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on over the next three seasons.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["871923"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Although he played mainly in a reserve role last season, [player_tooltip player_id='871923' first='Jayce' last='Duvall'] is a receiver that stood out to me on film. He lines up in the slot where Trinity likes to simply get the ball in his hands. After the catch, Duvall has the speed and elusiveness to turn short passes and screens into big plays at any given moment. Jayce doesn't currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on as his role in the Trinity offense continues to grow.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["378848"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='378848' first='Nation' last='Roe-McBroom'] is another Trinity wide receiver with a promising future. He played in a reserve role last season but put together some impressive film. McBroom is a dangerous deep threat both on the outside and in the slot, showing the speed to blow by opposing defensive backs. He also has a high catch radius, showing the ability to use his athleticism to go up and catch contested passes at their highest point. Nation doesn't currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1200644"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1223841' first='Boone' last='Godby'] is another wide receiver that caught our attention with a solid freshman season. He lines up on the outside where he is able to use smooth breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Godby is also impressive after the catch, showing the speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big plays. Schepman played mainly on a reserve role last season but I like what I have seen from him on film. He is a skilled route runner, showing the ability to create separation with the breaks in his routes. Schepman also has the speed to pose as a deep threat and has very reliable hands. Nathaniel doesn't currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on as his role continues to grow in the Boyle County offense.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6604f5b40041f"} /-->
