As we enter the 2024 high school football offseason, we have been releasing our rankings updates in the state of Kentucky. This past month has been dedicated to the class of 2027, which is a class that is loaded with talent. Over the past couple weeks, I have focused on the top five players at each position so now I wanted to focus on some key players at each position that landed outside the top five that I believe people should be paying close attention to. With that being said, I will be doing a “Stock Watch” series highlighting each position in the 2027 class. After already covering the offensive skill players here are some 2027 offensive linemen to keep an eye on.

Velotta lined up at guard where he was very impressive as a run blocker. He explodes out of his stance and does a great job of running his feet through contact to drive his man down the field. Velotta also does a good job of getting to the second level quickly and picking up blocks in open space. Gavin doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1200575"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Although he played mainly in a reserve role, [player_tooltip player_id='1200575' first='Teagan' last='Haretuku'] still put together some good film this past season. Haretuku lines up at guard where he is very impressive as a run blocker. He does a great job of running his feet through contact to drive his man out of the picture. Teagan finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in several pancake blocks. Haretuku doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on as his role on the Highlands offensive line continues to grow.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["264445"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='264445' first='Kaden' last='Bogar'] is another 2027 offensive lineman that caught my attention when watching film. Bogar is an impressive run blocker, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man down the field to create a running lane for the ball carrier. He truly finishes his blocks through the whistle, driving his man several yards down the field on many occasions. Kaden doesn't currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["711154"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"The final offensive lineman on my 2027 “Stock Watch” list is [player_tooltip player_id='711154' first='Marques' last='Johnson'] from Woodford County. He stands out the most as a run blocker where he has shown the ability to drive his man several yards off the line of scrimmage. Johnson also does a great job of finishing his blocks quickly, resulting in several pancake blocks. Marques doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":4,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6604fc3b0667a"} /-->
