Bingham checks into our top ten initial 2027 Idaho rankings, and is a very explosive interior pass rusher that should continue to have an excellent high school career over the next three seasons. He has a quick first step, heavy hands and gets into the backfield quickly with a strong initial inside punch, good leverage and is a powerful kid that can eat up blocks inside and provide some inside twitch from the defensive tackle position. He shows he can quickly get off blocks and walks blockers back in a hurry when bull rushing and will only continue to grow and develop as a interior defensive linemen. Look for the Freshmen to make a big leap into his second season, as he is only going to continue to grow and develop and add to his strong frame.
Hollifield had a very productive season for Mountain View, and is one of the top up and coming signal callers across Idaho who should be a well known name in the coming years. He is very athletic in the pocket with a strong downfield arm for his age, and shows he can air it out over the top and throw his receivers open downfield while feeling out pressure well in the pocket. When scrambling, he welcomes contact and is tough to bring down in the open field, and is not afraid to stick in the pocket and take a shot in order to deliver the ball. He also shows that he can throw both in-breaking and outbreaking routes, and scans the field quickly while not afraid to step into his throws and fit the ball into tight windows.
Highlights
Earley has tons of growth potential over the next three years and will only continue to grow and pack on more weight to his long frame. He currently sneaks in just inside out top ten overall in the initial rankings, and inside the top 3 at his position. He is a very athletic two-way guy and should find his home at either defensive end or offensive tackle as he progresses through high school, depending on how much he grows. He is strong at the POA, can bend around the edge and provides good position versatility along the LOS. Borah has a recent history of putting out top tier linemen, and Earley could be next in line to follow in those same steps.
Highlights
Cahill had a very promising Freshmen campaign, and put up some big time numbers in his first season behind center. He checks in here inside the top 3 at his position, and takes the final spot in our initial top ten rankings overall. He threw for over 1,200 yards and had over a 50% completion percentage, while tossing another 11 TD’s through the air and 1 on the ground rushing. The talented Freshmen will look to build off a strong off-season and should be atop the passing leaderboards across the region in 2024 and will have no shortage of starting varsity experience.
