About Brennan
Expert Analysis
Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
Early is a two-way guy that is very athletic for his size, strong at the point of attack and can finish blocks downfield with violence and immediate vertical push from his center position. He shows he can snap out of his stance and create knock-back while able to get to the second level and block out in space taking proper angles and sustaining blocks at the first two levels. He plays with heavy hands and can anchor on either side of the ball and should be drawing plenty of D3+ attention this off-season heading into his senior year for Borah. Overall, he is a plus athlete for his size and should find his home as either a itnerior guy offensively or as a defensive tackle at the next level.

Earley is one of the more talented edge rushers in this class and has the frame and length to play either defensive end or kick inside as a 3-tech in college. He is strong out of his stance with good hip explosion, inside hand placement at the point of attack while showing a quick lockout and violent shed in his run progression. When rushing the passer, he flashes he can use a variety of different speed and power moves, counter when necessary and is very well polished for his age. He is a high motor kid with plenty of Varsity experience heading into his Junior season, and will be one of the more talented pass rushers in his class.

Earley is a still developing prospect at the defensive end position, but is a two way varsity starter for Borah in his second season and has been playing well so far at the midpoint of the year. He is a physical blocker that is strong at the POA, can drive defenders off the ball with ease and pull/block in space when needed while good at sustaining blocks at the first two levels, especially for his age. Defensively, he shows a nice initial first step, violent hand usage at the POA with a few pass rush moves at his disposal while playing with relentless pursuit to the ball backside. Look for Earley to continue to build on his prep career, and be one of the better two-way prospects in the tranches this off-season and into next season.

Earley has tons of growth potential over the next three years and will only continue to grow and pack on more weight to his long frame. He currently sneaks in just inside out top ten overall in the initial rankings, and inside the top 3 at his position. He is a very athletic two-way guy and should find his home at either defensive end or offensive tackle as he progresses through high school, depending on how much he grows. He is strong at the POA, can bend around the edge and provides good position versatility along the LOS. Borah has a recent history of putting out top tier linemen, and Earley could be next in line to follow in those same steps.
