It’s hard to evaluate Whitestone as he has just one clip available on his HUDL. But what we can tell you about the Nitro athlete is that he’s extremely versatile. He’s a three-sport athlete and on the gridiron where he plays quarterback, wide receiver, free safety, and also kicker and punter.
Whitestone’s time at quarterback will likely be limited once again in 2024 as he backups up Josh Moody Josh Moody 6’2″ | 195 lbs | QB Nitro | 2025 State WV who will be entering his senior season.
Tenney doesn’t have much sophomore film available so again, it’s hard to accurately scout but the glimpses of what we have seen in his available tape is promising. He is on the smaller side at 5-foot-11 and 165-pounds but he shows to have quality arm strength and athleticism with the ability to extend plays with his legs and throw on the run. Does a solid job as well of keeping his eyes downfield.
Highlights
Swartz has quality size at 6-foot-2 and 200-pounds and is a decent athlete with a 5.1 forty-yard dash time. Quality fundamentals as a quarterback, keeps his eyes down field, and shows the ability to improvise when needed. His accuracy is solid and his arm strength is good as well. Not much sophomore tape is available for Swartz. Also plays baseball as an outfielder and pitcher.
Shriver has good height for the position at 6-foot-1 but weight gain is desperately needed at 155 pounds. That being said, Shriver has a nice fluid and easy motion as a passer. His arm strength is quality but he does throw the ball rather effortlessly. His accuracy is solid as well for a younger quarterback. Good at improvising and can collect himself in the moment of a broken play in hopes of making a positive out of it. Shows respectable athleticism.
Knapp is a highly intriguing quarterback thanks to his size and his arm talent. There is a lot to like about the Glen Dale native. He’s got an easy and fluid motion, his arm strength is very good with a nice zip on his ball and he shows good ball placement to all levels of the field. Good athlete who can make plays with his legs as well. Smooth and effortless mechanics as well. Throws the ball with anticipation and can fit the ball into some tight windows as well. Very impressive tape.
