Jayden Williams Jayden Williams 5'11" | 185 lbs | ATH Pamlico County | 2024 State NC – Butler
Jayden exploded onto the scene this past season with over 1700 yards rushing and 30 touchdowns from scrimmage, very impressive numbers from a Butler team that typically has multiple threats all over the field. Standing at 5’10 and 195 pounds, the main thing I love about Jayden is his vision – he is patient and allows blocks to develop, and then explodes at the right time coming off the block for big runs. He also is a threat to catch passes out of the backfield, as he can win in one-on-one matchups versus linebackers consistently.
Ian Cline Ian Cline 5'9" | 200 lbs | RB Providence Day | 2025 State NC – Providence Day
Ian came into the Providence Day last season, and it looked like he had grown up in the system from being a freshman. Standing at 5’9 and 210 pounds, Ian put up some impressive numbers last season on a Chargers team that had a lot of talented players on offense. 1355 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns is a very impressive production given who he was sharing the ball with. Losing a lot to graduation, you can reasonably expect even more production this upcoming season. He also plays baseball and boasts a 4.5 GPA, so colleges will be excited to hear both of those things. Fairmont State, Liberty, Eastern Kentucky, and Marshall have offered him so far.
Devin Walker Devin Walker 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Olympic | 2025 State NC – Olympic
Devin has been one of my favorite backs the last couple of years in Charlotte. A two-time All-Conference player, he had 1238 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns for a Trojans team that battled a lot of injuries in a down season. At 5’7 and 180 pounds, Devin is a strong workhorse who is tough to bring down with the ball in his hands. He has excellent vision, and his footwork in and out of the hole makes it a tough combination to handle. He can take the ball the distance if he gets in the open field, and has enough agility to make linebackers miss.
Fedayeen Turner Fedayeen Turner 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Palisades | 2025 NC – Palisades
Fedayeen broke out on the big stage last season, being named the Special Teams Player of the Year in his conference. He became very dangerous on kickoff and punt returns, using his very good speed in open space along with electric agility and great vision to create big plays consistently for the Pumas. At 5’11 and 175 pounds, I am excited to see how his game grows even more in his senior season. In the run game, Fedayeen will use a quick jump cut effectively to get into space to pick up extra yardage.
Jycen Anciso Jycen Anciso 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Hough | 2025 NC – Hough
Jycen, standing at 6’0 and 200 pounds, was a 1st Team All-Conference performer in probably the toughest conference in the state of North Carolina. He also won his team’s offensive MVP award, mainly buoyed by the production he provided – 7.6 yards per carry, 19 yards per catch, and 10 total touchdowns. Jycen’s versatility makes him so valuable – he played running back, H-Back, and wide receiver at times last season. He is a strong ball carrier, with an ability to fall forward when being tackled and gain yardage after contact. He also has some sneaky good speed, and can win against linebackers in the passing game.
Anthony Hawkins Anthony Hawkins 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Hickory Grove Christian School | 2025 NC – Hickory Grove
Anthony has been a little bit under the radar, but when you put up the kind of production he has, no matter the level, it’s worth taking notice. This past season, he had 1861 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns as the focal point of the Hickory Grove offense. Standing at 5’9 and 185 pounds, Anthony has very good speed in the open field and is strong with the ball in his hands, with the ability to run through solo tackles and pick up additional yardage. Anthony has a 3.4 GPA and is an excellent leader for his team also.
