Amar had 489 yards receiving with seven touchdowns last season and added 19 tackles with an interception, blocked punt and fumble recovery on defense.
BYU is the eleventh school to offer Amar. He is projected as a tight end at the college level.
Upland star Trestin Castro Trestin Castro 6’2″ | 165 lbs | DB Upland | 2025 State CA picked up offers from Boise State and Minnesota over the past week.
Castro had 472 yards receiving with seven touchdowns and had four interceptions on defense.
He is over double-digit offers with the addition of the two schools.
St. John Bosco class of 2025 defensive end Austin Coronado Austin Coronado 6’3″ | 220 lbs | DL St. John Bosco | 2025 State CA picked up his first Division 1 offer from Washington State.
Coronado had 42 tackles, 11 for a loss with five sacks and a forced fumble for Damien of La Verne last season. He has since transferred to St. John Bosco.
Crean Lutheran class of 2024 quarterback Jeremiah Finaly Jeremiah Finaly 5’11” | 155 lbs | QB Los Alamitos | 2024 CA accepted a preferred walk-on spot at the University of Minnesota.
He had 18 touchdowns with just five interceptions for Crean Lutheran this season and recently played in the Orange County All Star game.
Finaly previously was a backup quarterback at Los Alamitos.
San Ramon Valley star linebacker Marco Jones Marco Jones 6’4″ | 230 lbs | LB San Ramon Valley | 2025 State CA visited Southern California schools USC and UCLA this past week.
Jones had 166 tackles, 15 for a loss with three interceptions and three forced fumbles this season.
He raved about both schools but noted that LA is a “busier” town. Jones told 247Sports that he was impressed with USC’s defensive coaching staff. He told Rivals that he liked UCLA’s record of player development.
