Charlie Bloomfield Charlie Bloomfield 5’10” | 270 lbs | OL Reed | 2026 State NV is set to be one of the fastest rising OL out of Reno this fall. After a solid sophomore campaign, I believe Charlie’s offensive recruitment is bound to heat up. Good instincts and athleticism highlights Charlie’s potential to play multiple interior positions. Charlie’s power and flashes of next level explosiveness shows creating space in the run game. Charlie’s size, anchor, and lateral quickness highlights his potential to be a versatile pass protector in college.
Jeffrey Heaton Jeffrey Heaton 6’1″ | 190 lbs | LB Carson | 2025 NV may be the most underrated linebacker out of northern Nevada. The two-sport athlete has been dominating Nevada wrestling lately but may have a future as a linebacker in college. JT has a combination of size, instincts, and tackling ability that suggests he can thrive as a linebacker at the next level. A fluid change of direction and good closing speed gets displayed pressuring quarterbacks as a blitzer. Good quickness and shed technique consistently gets displayed when JT disrupts run plays outside of his vicinity.
Ben Imse Ben Imse 6’3″ | 205 lbs | WR Galena | 2025 NV had a standout junior season, and I am confident recruiters will have him slotted in as a top WR prospect in Reno this fall. Be on the lookout for coaches to be in contact before his senior season begins. Coaches like Ben’s instincts, toughness, and tackling ability on defense; With Ben’s productivity and instinctiveness displayed on defense, I am starting to think he will be recruited on both sides of the ball during his senior year. Still, I was impressed with Ben’s improved strength and balance at the catchpoint during 2023. I believe his size, adjustment ability, and ability to catch in traffic will keep him on the offensive side of the ball; With good length, athleticism, and strong hands Ben has the ability to develop into a versatile pass catcher at the next level.
Highlights
Jackson Ovard
Jackson Ovard
Jackson Ovard threw for over 1100 yards during Douglas’ 2023 playoff run. If he chooses not to play baseball in college, I am confident he will find an opportunity on the football field. A good combination of anticipation and arm strength gets displayed when Jackson hits well-timed crossing routes in between defenses’ zone coverage. Next level accuracy shows leading receivers vertically with touch or hitting them in stride while throwing on the run. Jackson’s pocket passer potential shows hitting receivers near the numbers under duress in reduced pockets.
Mataio Aiono Mataio Aiono 6’3″ | 255 lbs | DL Reed | 2025 State NV has continued to impress as one of the top two-way linemen out of Reno. He was recently reoffered by his hometown team and I am confident more scholarships are on the way during his senior year. Mataio showed improved power and athleticism during 2023 easily knocking second level defenders out in the run game. Coaches like Mataio’s combination of speed, drive, and flexibility displayed removing defenders from the point of attack with good leverage. A rare combination of size, strength, and explosiveness shown by Mataio suggests he has all the tools to play multiple OL positions in college.
