There are a handful of transfers that look to make noise in 2024, take a look:

[player_tooltip player_id='739443' first='Marcel' last='Jones'], QB, Saguaro '26

Jones transferred over to Saguaro around the middle of last season, as he entered the 2023 season as the starter for Chaparral. He's a dual threat kid with loads of raw ability. A year ago, Jones picked up his first two offers from Arizona State and UNLV, and barring he plays as expected, I think Jones is prone to explode and see the flood gates open over at Saguaro.

[player_tooltip player_id='368912' first='Shamar' last='Berryhill'], WR, Centennial '25

This a huge transfer as one of the best players in 3A last year moves to the Phoenix area and will play at west valley powerhouse Centennial, in which he will make an immediate spark for that offense. He's fresh off an explosive Jr. season by racking up over 1,300 yards receiving and 19 TD's. Berryhill will play on a big stage for tjhe open division contender, and I'm confident he'll see those D1 offers relatively soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='739441' first='Zeth' last='Thues'], DB, Liberty '26

Thues has been a standout player for Saguaro for a few years, but now he'll head west and play for Liberty. He's molding into a well polished FS as he displays excellent route recognition with a sharp burst to the ball. Closes well as a tackler and brings a ton of strength to the POC for big hit ability. Definitely one of the best defensive players in the state where he should make an immediate impact to the historically tough Liberty D.

https://twitter.com/ZethThues26/status/1754912267907498077?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id='401176' first='Tristan' last='Armstrong'], WR, Saguaro '26

Armstrong is another former Chaparral kid that'll head over to saguaro to play with his QB [player_tooltip player_id='739443' first='Marcel' last='Jones']. Armstrong recently picked up an offer from Colorado State, and I think we'll continue to see him heat up. He's a 6'2" 170lb kid with really good length. He does a great job tracking the ball and possesses that ability to go up and win contested catches. Could be a big year for Armstrong here in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='212203' first='Jayden' last='Pico'], QB, Liberty '26

Pico started on varsity as a freshman and sophomore for Shadow Ridge the past two seasons, but will make the jump over to Liberty to fill Bruzon's shoes at Q. Really promising kid that showed a ton of flashes during his freshman season. He comes off a slower sophomore year than his frosh year, but could easily make a huge jump as he enters his junior season with the defending open division state champs.

[player_tooltip player_id='739452' first='Camar' last='Lee'], QB, Mountain Pointe '26

Lee is another kid who started his freshman and sophomore year over at Sierra Linda, and he'll head out to Desert Vista. Lee possesses a raw skillset with numerous intangibles to build off of heading into his Jr. season. I think we'll see more of his ability to let it rip downfield at Desert Vista as he'll play against some much tougher competition here, jumping from 4A to 6A.

[player_tooltip player_id='704778' first='Nikko' last='Boncore'], WR, Centennial '25

Boncore has been a standout at cactus for the past couple years, but he'll bump up and over to 6A Centennial as he'll add another dangerous dimension to that Centennial offense. Boncore is a legit division 1 talent in my opinion and I think he's been severely overlooked, so I think Boncore is about to explode and prove himself as one of the biggest WR threats in the state. He's had two seasons in a row with over 1,000 yards and proved to be a TD machine with 15 TD's last season.

There are a handful of transfers that look to make noise in 2024, take a look:
