Elijah Herbert Elijah Herbert 6’2″ | 205 lbs | WR Hug | 2026 State NV is set to be a huge part of Hug’s 2024 offense. I revisited the versatile receiver’s tape, and I would bet on his recruitment to see a big uptick before his junior year is over. Elijah’s quick feet and athletic ability allows him to create space with minimal room to work with when operating underneath. Flashes of acceleration shows gaining vertical separation on zone defenders. Elijah has the size, balance, strong hands, and toughness to fight through contact and come down with contested balls.
I was impressed with Luey Jaime Luey Jaime 6’1″ | 160 lbs | WR Desert Pines | 2026 State NV ‘s progression throughout his sophomore year. Luey’s athleticism and size displayed as a tight end suggests he can be a versatile receiving threat in college. The versatile pass catcher is bound to receive more attention after displaying improved strength and speed in 2023. Luey showcased his separation ability as an inline tight end getting behind deep zone defenders. A good combination of size, power, and balance gets displayed running through contact in the open field.
Andres’ Pollard
Andres’ Pollard
Andres’ Pollard is a good-sized receiver out of Las Vegas who is bound to blow up before the 2024 season ends. Dre received his first offer from Webber International this month. Expect the talented, two-way prospect to receive more attention this spring. Dre’s good length, strength, and balance at the catchpoint suggests that he has all the tools to complete tough catches in traffic. Dre displays good vision and long speed as a ball carrier in space. Quickness and crisp footwork at the top of routes highlights Dre’s next level separation ability.
James Carrington James Carrington 6’3″ | 270 lbs | DL Bishop Gorman | 2026 State NV is set to take the field for the Gaels for the first time in 2024. James is already a nationally touted recruit, so don’t be surprised when he hits the ground running as one of Las Vegas’ top DL prospects this fall. The Georgia native recently received offers from Florida & Washington, and I would expect more west coast schools to come calling this spring. James’ next level range shows easily shedding blockers and chasing down ball carriers behind the line of scrimmage as a run defender. James shows a rare combination of size, power, and lateral quickness easily beating interior blockers as a pass rusher. James’ athleticism, strength, and explosive power suggests he has all the tools to be a versatile, interior pass rusher in college.
