Tanner picked up his first offer from Nevada-Reno a few weeks back, and is a no brainer FBS caliber offensive tackle at the next level. He has elite athleticism/movement abilities, feet and violence at the POA, and fits the mold for a young and rising offensive tackle that passes the eye test. Tanner is a terrific athlete that can block in space, finishes blocks downfield and plays with nasty intentions in the box. He shows strong lateral movement abilities in pass protection with patient hands, and is a downhill run blocker that has a powerful strike and wins with leverage, strong base and finish at the POA, which is everything you want in a young offensive tackle prospect. He checks into our initial rankings as the top player in the state in his class.
Schoolfield checks into our rankings as the top quarterback across Idaho in this loaded 2026 class, and has a live arm with pocket mobility and the ability to fit the ball into very tight windows downfield. On tape, he shows he can quickly move through progressions, buys time with his legs and has a strong understanding of where pressure is coming from before taking off. He also shows he can manipulate cover guys with his eyes, is not afraid to check down but also throws a nice deep ball with velocity and spin over the top, throwing receivers open. He has a snappy release and the ball jumps out of his hand both in the pocket and when throwing on the run or across his body. Still not holding any offers, that should change soon as he gets rolling into his Junior campaign.
Highlights
Rupp has been dominating top tier Idaho competition since his Freshman year, and is an elite defensive lineman that could find his home inside in college as he continues to grow and develop. Rupp is a twitchy 3-6 tech that can move around, and is a violent puncher with inside leverage, quick lock out and can quickly get off blocks with violent hands and chest control. He wins with pad level, a solid base and creates immediate vertical knock-back against taller blockers while also showing he can redirect, collapses the pocket quickly and is a high motor kid with tons of experience. Rupp takes over our number one spot along the 2026 defensive line rankings in Idaho, and is one of the better players at his position in his class across the western region.
